Villa have stopped Grealish re-newing his loan at Notts County and he will be back at Villa monday. Could be a new contract offer before he's sent back or maybe Lambert likes what he sees and might be ready to give him a chance. Be great to see him get a run.

Believable8 Unbelievable8

Its too soon for him. Having a blinding season at County. Let him finish the season there, get his confidence up and try him out in pre season, if it doesn't quite happen for him. loan him out to championship next season. The lads only 18. Give him a chance to some proper experience and get his confidence before throwing him in deep end

Agree5 Disagree4

We need to add experience to the first team and our youngsters need to be loaned out and built up before geting in to our first team squad, for this I do not think there is any one better then paul lambert, let's get behind the club and push it forward as we will come good! Look at all the teams below us and a win monday will no doubt bring a good feeling back to the club and if we can act to that win buy adding quality additions the glass will definatley be half full!

Up the villa!!!

He's back for the FA Youth cup game. will go back to County on loan after

ASTON VILLA FC NEWS!

Supposedly John Crew's Recommendation was an actual smokescreen, the actual player was Mohamed Elyounoussi very talented creative AM/FW £1.2mill this will allow PL the flexibility to still add experience in £7mill Defour with a possible loan for an international CB on the cards.

Doubtful if these will materialize, but hopeful

Believable12 Unbelievable2

Elyounoussi is indeed a talent, but I think what we lack of someone with a bit more proven quality?

Agree10 Disagree1

Is Defour still coming?
Most reports I've read seem to say it is definitely off.

First rule of football "Don't believe everything you read in the papers!" Defour to be unveiled at the arsenal game!

Agree3 Disagree13

Defour won't be coming stop day dreaming

Agree10 Disagree1

I'd like to believe you over Defour but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Also think Lambert seems to be spending far too much time trying to sort out the signing of Hoolihan and putting other urgently needed business on the back burner as a result.

I'll eat my hat if defour comes. doesn't fit the wage structure, get real villa fans

Posted a few days ago that Defour is valued at £40m by people that know. Seems that we value him at £7m. That is why we can't get him.
If Scrooge won't open his purse he should go.
Lerner out.

Agree1 Disagree9

Well it was only in 1 paper I saw he was rated at 40m, all other reports have him available for 8m euros, also I've learned with pl until the players have signed villa tend to keep it quite hush hush

Agree4 Disagree1

I don't care what paper reported Defour is valued at £40m.

Whoever thinks that is a complete plank!

Porto will be lucky to get 7million euros for him.

Is mat Kendrick always right because if he is
Defour isn't coming

Agree1 Disagree3

Well we will have to wait and see what pl has in-store for us all. At least it looks like Ireland Will soon be off our hands

Agree1 Disagree1

Not sure why ireland is hated so much, he is still on our books and is actually our most creative force by a mile on his day.

Agree4 Disagree1

It's because he hasn't had his day in a villa shirt, it's just a shame he was brought in to replace Milner and he never could,

Agree1 Disagree2

Technically he wasnt brought in to replace milner - he was offered with funds to purchase milner - completely different types of players though so if you was expecting Ireland to be as hardworking and industrious as Milner was then he was never going to succeed
