Not confident about the play offs been a Villa fan since 1960 and am used to being frustrated and let down and get the same feeling at present. Really hope I am wrong, consistency not good enough.

My biggest concern is playing against pace, we can't play a open game like we do quite a lot,

I have to agree mort, I have posted many times about false dawns with Villa.
We have a tendency to fall short when the door of opportunity knocks, like you I hope I am wrong.
I am not being pessimistic on this, more cautious and realistic.
We have a great chance that is true, but I have learned over the years to keep it shut until the deed is done.

If SB picks our best side I believe we will progress to play Derby for the prom spot.
Hutton must be there not Taylor.
Hourihane can be an essential in the middle.
I prefer Whelan to Jedi.
Snoddy, Grabban, Adomah and Kodjia.
Jack must hit the ground running, be at his very best.
Poss draw first leg then a solid second leg to take us to Wembley.
AVFC have everything there. Light the blue touch paper and make the most of the chances that will come our way.

We only have one GK, one RB and then Terry and Chester.
I posted I prefer Whelan to Jedi, not saying to play either.
However I personally prefer 3 at the back and two wingback that makes 5, then 3 across and two in front.
This was popular till Ramsey went 4,4,2 and won in 1966.

Chris, read carefully.
I did not say to play either Whelan or Jedi only I prefer one to the other.
Stop being argumentive, just hope that it all goes well and we get back in the prem for next season.
