Going to our first game this season, I’m thinking 1-0 Villa and a nervy finish. I was going to say Chester to score but he got 1 in the week so am going with Terry. I’m taking my lucky omen with me.

It`s going on again, another thread of arguing, bickering and bull sht, and please don't tell me it is just banter.
I am not preaching or soapboxing, I am just trying to understand the purpose of this forum, if someone can clarify the reasoning behind some of the posts on here, I will gladly listen.
This is just an observation, can I ask why some people on here seem to have some sort of vendetta against the certain posters.
It never ceases to amaze me that when topics and opinions are raised and others including myself submit their input, there is hardly or never a response, it then gets overlooked or ignored, because of this childish bickering.
It gets to a point where myself and others might just as well be talking to a brick wall.
Two of the last three posts I have submitted, might just as well of been stuck on our garden fence with stick tape.
A lot of people have stopped posting on here, there are names I have not seen for years, they were fun people that posted valuable views about our club, it was a fun thing to be part of, It really does make me wonder why they stopped posting on here, maybe it is all becoming a little clearer.
Wake up and smell the coffee, the club and football side of this site will be lost amongst all this drivel.

Could not agree with you more Dave,
I know I am one is involved is this stupid banter,
I'm sick of it as well I want to talk about football and I respect other bloggers views,
I have enough trouble at home at present with my wife's health and I come on here for a light relief to get me through each day,
So if I have offended any fan I'm sorry but I can't think of anything which I have said to be honest.

That’s just it Bob, you have said nothing wrong, your opinions are yours.
I happen to think a 10 minute sin bin should be introduced into football, instead of cards, that way it affects that game at that moment in time.
Am I wrong for thinking that, “No of course not, it is only my opinion”.
Give your opinion and leave it, you don’t have to justify it, I think sometimes a view needs to be clarified, and that’s it.
If someone gets personal that is a different ball game, time for them to shut the uck up and go away.
Although you are not guilty, some of your squabbles have become a tad close to personal.
Please understand I am not holier-than-thou, given the circumstance I can and do bite.

Not saying you are or you aren’t Dave, simply asking, are you saying that the thread where yes me and Bob had a disagreement is down to me getting personal? Again not saying you are or you aren’t, genuinely asking. Honestly the way I saw it was bob gave his opinion, I gave mine that was different to his, but then bob seemed to think because mine was different I was somewhat slating his opinion, which wasn’t the case.

If we ent up in the play offs it could be perfect timing, I know we haven’t seen him in so long but fully fit his one of the best strikers in the league, if not the best. Match winner on his own.
