Just to say by comments made on here by sum1 yes I don't rate Bruce who does but I never want my team too lose, who does just because I say I want him to change tacticts an play doesn't mean I want us to lose does it, people on here get defensive we all love villa an all have different views on the way we should play, it's normal that's football it is a banter site for views an stuff like that, no1 gets serious and gets personal, we just have different views if people don't like people's post don't read em,

Football is all about opinions nobody is right or wrong some people look through tinted glasses and some don't and that's what makes football so special. This is probably the hardest time in aston villa's history so naturally people will clash in their opinions people will disagree argue and in some cases fight (ie Wembley) . I believe this is only because people care so much for the club and everybody needs to stick together to get through this hard time.

My last post
Steve Bruce has just come out and spoken about our club and said it as it is sell sell sell now for all you people who follow our club knows when he came in we was in the doldrums facing relegation. In the face of it he inherited a squad built by RDM and Dr Tony. When that went tits up Steve Bruce had to get loan players in not the ones he wanted because we was stuck with FFP Fact. Now the poor bloke lost both his parents in a small space of time yet still turned up to train and also manage on match days that is a true leader in my eyes. We all wanted the truth what is happening and now our manager has had to say it not the person who has ruined our club again this speaks volumes of our manager. Certain people on here spout on and on day in day out about how much they hate him and his football but he had the best win action than any of our last 3 maybe more managers and we scored more goals last season than I can seem to remember them are FACTS. So before you all wish him bad luck this season and hopes he fails again just remember not only are you wishing him to fail but you are also hoping Villa fail that in itself is embarrassing. Enjoy your moaning and gloating because you are both a real embarrassment to all that is ASTON VILLA FOOTBALL CLUB!

I agree Villadaz, bruce very nearly got us promoted whilst working with restrictions and if we had won that last match I think the same people would still be calling for change because of his style of football. For me he plays the football that wins you games at Championship level and with cash behind should we have gone up who knows what he may of achieved and what style he would have adopted.
But despite all the turmoil this summer and the inevitable pending departures, I still haven't given up on next season just yet because you just never know in football who is going to step up and become the next batch of star players UTV.

2 things, come on daz, stop f**king about and say what you mean!, last post my arse, you can't skidaddle now fella, now the chips are down, this is when it all really starts, some fair weather supporters will always hoot up when things go sideways, but if your old enough to remember some of the divisions we've been in and fortunes of the past, this my friend is just a pregnant pause, we go again because that's who we are, and will always be, yeah the road is going to bumpy, and the results jumpy, but that's what will make it all the more sweeter when we rise again to the top, so don't give up daz, our best times are ahead of us, and secondly, on a personal note, i'll be glad when we get rid of kodjia, some players add to the feel good factor in a changing room, SOME DON'T, i know which one he belongs to, so the sooner he jogs on the better, i really think because of this squad unity will prevail, so whoever is there at the start of the season i don't care, as long as they give they're all (hutton style) that's all i ask-hearts and minds boys-UTV!

Interesting interview by Bruce it seems to me that jck will get sold on the cheap now which is a joke because he's a 40 million pound player, Norwich sold James maddison to Leicester for 25mil who has never played in the prem an has half the talent of jck, so how does that work, big clubs are going to be like leeches now around our players because they know we need to sell . all our big stars will go now I'm gutted to lose our best players . but it's time to rebuild the team with our set up its the only way forward an to get more faces to the squad ;I say let them off the shackles an give them time an we could have more stars, an plus there's nothing

Either Levey wants Jack or he doesn't - if he does then pay the market value, If he does not we need to offload others instead, Levey would not sell Deli Ali or Winks for less than market value and we should tell him to put up or shut up.

We did come close to going up Villa4eva and you don't achieve that by playing losing football. Yes the season had a disappointing finale but overall I enjoyed the season, it was a huge change from watching us lose on a weekly basis like we have done for the past several years. Bruce did take the team forward from where we were and I don't perceive missing promotion by one match as a totally failed season, especially when compared to those finishing in the bottom six, so for me the season had a lot of pluses.

1 more point I want to make, doesn't every1 think the championship isn't that hard it's just we made it look hard let's be honest we had the best squad by a miLe an failed if we had a better manager that played on the front foor we would of walked the championship last season, an then we had another chance in play off final biggest game ever in recent years an we set up too defend an nick the game, instead of attacking
And going for, I just want Bruce to attack and use our young players I'm sick of seeING us play boring football it's like the old arsenal team but they won we didn't so you can't take any plusses from Bruces style if I was to mark him out of ten I'd give him a 4out of 10, reasons are he has had the biggest budget in the league, he signed an put faith in the oldies, he doesn't have a plan b, let alone a plan A, plus he cannot motivate players aswell.

1 way that could do villa good is to go all out an attack an play our young players that have pace, use fullbacks or wingbacks with pace, play center mids that have energy an legs, use wingers that cross an that cut in who are quick, if we use Davis properly he have a good season, along with green, an rhm, I'm expecting all them to be in 1st team, if not I'm going to be disappointed, because nows the time to play our youths, let's see if Bruce can nurture an mould an bring on players for once, or is he like we all a cheque book manager, paSt his sell by date, in my views his methods are old school an out dated, the games moved on now let's if Bruce can but I doubt it, it will still be the same boring slow paced

I agree with his post,
We did have the strongest squad in championship but Bruce got us playing not to lose first and foremost,
I just hope he has learned by his tactics,
I like the bloke his talks a really good game and he is very honest with his views on the game,
We just need to get on the front foot more often,
We have proved we can play going by the way we murdered the wolves and Bristol city but most of the games were turgid to watch,
So now that the young players are in the mix let's hope we get it right this time,

Well some bookies have us as 1 of 3 teams going dwn, don't blame them aswell villa are in turmoil who can the players focus with all stuff that's going on, I don't think we will go dwn but it won't be a good season at, we don't even know what the teams going to look like yet with all our best players getting sold, then we haven't replaced the loan signings, an what makes it worse is we can't sign any free transfers or loans signings so how are we going to improve on last season minus 6 to 8 players that are getting sold.

Really all depends on who we sell and who we sign, as obvious as that sounds - I still think, as it stands, Villa have one of the strongest squads in the division.
We all know that Jack Grealish will be sold, its a sad fact but he will leave - I hope / think he will be the only MAJOR sale and if that is the case, promotion is still a viable achievement.
With Jack I can see Gardener, De Leat, Bunn, Samba, Richards, McCormack and MAYBE Adomah being sold / released. If this is the case our FFP concerns should be eased dramatically without, Jack aside, dramatically impacting the squad. A few shrewd free transfers and loan signings coupled with the injection of our talented youth and we will still have a strong squad. Now this may be wishful thinking but this team would certainly challenge for playoffs?

Levy will wait till the last minute to get in a very cheap deal over the line,
Bet he offers around the 15-18 mill with a loan for the year,
