What villa did last year was get Sherwood as manager then sack him, then it was Garde sack him, now this season Matteo sack him, next manager how long before we do the same with the new guy. If we keep doing this we will not get anywhere.

Sherwood was the year before, and agree or not, it needed sorting, as we went for garde, it didn't work. but your right, we should just sat on it so as to not change manager.

A simple aside from Bruce etc.
Watching the England game at present and just mulling about the players with Villa connections in the recent past.
Almost a complete back line Walker, Cahill, Bertrand. Then Sturidge and even the coach Southgate.

To the villa board please do not appoint steve Clarke he just isn't strong enough we will be back to remi garde days. I know he managed the blosers but steve Bruce is the right choice he has proven himself at this level Sean Dyche would be another I would pursue it's looking unlikely we will get back this season but Bruce could build a decent team although play offs could still be achievable.

Hi mate, it doesn't get me jumping but who else has his record and is available. He is clearly the man to get us up there without fancy frills so it's a no brainer really. I would also like to see Graham Taylor consulted on things, after all he was the last manager to promote Aston Villa so surely he should have a voice?

Bruce. I like the man, and think he is the right man at the right time.
I actually think he will get us playing the way we need, and sort our leaky back line out.
I like how he sets up his teams, and the us against the world mentality he builds in to them.
I on the other hand, I have a bad taste in the back of my mouth with his blues connection. not because he played or was their manager as such, but I remember his comments and mannerisms after our goalkeeper debacle with the throw in!
One more thing, I assume he will be in the dug out for the blues game.
that's a big crowd swinger for a bad bloodied Derby. we win, ok, we can move on, especially if mr potato head makes the right noises. but, if we don't, or lose?
He would of lost most the fans before he starts, and given extra wood to put on the fire for the noses.
It's a tough one, as we can't wait any longer, he does tick most boxes, and could be perfect. but it could turn quite bad.
But like I said, he is a nice guy, who does a good job. at the right club, I think he could do a great job.
I seriously hope that is with us.
We need stability.

In our current circumstances Bruce is perfect. If we were mid table of PL and looking for a new manager perhaps we may look further afield.

I am afraid it is what it is, I think Bruce can do a good job for us, just wish everyone would forget the Blues connection, we must move on.
If he gets us back up who the hell gives a toss, we are the ones who benefit.
Apart from all that whoever we get in will please some and disappoint others, that's life is it not.
