Big problem now is that if Jack wants out he should be released.
We all know how he can perform when things are not going his way, he has still not matured enough to be out of the sulking stage yet.
I say while he is on his game let him go, I am sure we can squeeze 30 mil out of spuds.
Then let`s look forward and move on, we could even improve without him, he is not a finished article, and remember he might never be.

£30m?! Maddison went for £24m if I'm not mistaken, so this late in the window surely makes it £35m not to mention that doesn't even cover the FFP so if we can't meet the standard completely why try and meet it at all? We might as well fail FFP massively and have a chance of promotion than failing slightly and missing out on promotion. I'm not saying jack is the only way we will get promoted that goes to all our players potential sales.

Mcginn was shown around villa park etc yesterday he seems to be impressed with what villa have to offer, i do feel kodjia needs to up his game 100% we were playing better when he was injured last season midfield don't are afraid to over lap him when he has the ball to feet because of the amount of times he trys to take on 2 many players and loses the ball happened so many times on Monday and wingers has nobody to cross the ball into because he was out beside them try to receive the ball,
Personally I would test palace and try bring big Ben back even on loan and then buy come end of season because Ben would take us to the big league him super Jack would rip that league apart, plus we would be heading into the prem with the spine of our squad pretty decent prem players Chester hourihane Jack Ben.

Sell AA and kodjia to boro and get Big Ben in on loan, can't see palace going for it but I think we could persuade them if we have a big enough buy clause where we have to buy him if we are promoted say £25-30m.

I actually think it's a good time to sell him, he is getting the wrong side of 30 and after last seasons goals his price is inflated still so I say sell him and play green instead. We have Thor green, Elmo and kodjia who can all play wide.

It appears that Celtic have come in with a late improved bid for John McGinn matching what Villa put on the table which now as also been accepted by Hibs, so the final decision lies with McGinn. He looks a really good player to me so hopefully he will choose Villa but we will have to wait and see.
