Hello people they call me scratchings and crisps pleased to meet you all. Strange name i know but let's just say i have eaten my share of scratchings and crisps over the years so i guess i'm carrying a few extra pounds, hey but i'm also at an age where i no longer need to worry about what the young girls think of me and i would rather be pulling a pint than pulling some of the girls of today lol.
Any way i am what i am so i get on with life, been a villa fan all my life but don't get to go to matches now but i still follow the lads, anyway iv'e been watching developments concerning this takeover and to be honest i don't know if i should be happy or not, i will just be glad when it is sorted one way or another and i feel a lot happier when the new season starts because at least we should all know by then where we are heading.
It's been interesting reading all of the posts, some negative some positive and some just kingvilla lol sorry mate thought i would give you a mention you seem to be the talk of this site and i must admit i do enjoy your posts. Anyway hope this takeover is done soon and hope we all get a team to be proud of so up the Villa down the beer and mine is a lager and bag of scratchings please.

Just for the record i was classof82 but decided to delete my account name for a period of reflection, recharge the batteries (and more importantly, kingy found something out and is going to open the pandora's box by saturday i reckon), and i didn't want any association with any more doom and gloom (yes a true coward, we rule the world you know! ) hence deleting account, but then time traveller, oh no, i mean the brain, oh no, doh, i mean scratchings and crisps decided to start quoting chapter and verse from appendix 3 blah blah blah, i thought i'm out of my league here with 'stato-the brain'on the case but thought i'd reply while my one remaining brain cell was still half working, so i thought i'd sign up again but didn't know if i could us classof82 again, so 'Really' emerged, i did however, declare straight from the off, (by the way laughed my kebab all down my front with villadaz's worzel comment-i doff my cap sir in recognition there) i don't get the math with being multi-named but whatever floats your boat, but holly krypton factor, the main man kingy was on to time traveller like the true professional he is, making me superfluous to requirements (as the mrs. ' says! ) so i'm off back into my box for a bit of r&r (and the euro's), and will be checking the site every day for banter and ribbing (hour really, you know how it is) for the latest gossip and good news, gentlemen good luck with multiple alias's and fingers crossed for some quality buys! Been reading these posts for a long time and time to speak. Is King villa really in the know? Seems to have some success but throws a lot out there so bound to get some correct predictions, hope he is as he is now my goto for rumours and your posts decide if I sleep soundly or not. Got a feeling Mendax is John Lennon incarnate, such wisdom and pens fine responses.
To the Villa, new managers have players they trust for a certain system and if Dorrens is one such then he gets my vote of confidence, no longer premier league so can't feed from the top table and as I'm not a football coach (unless it's after a few pints on a Saturday night ) then I trust RDM's judgement. Hope I never have to see Lescott, Bacuna, Gabby, Richards and many more in my beloved claret and blue again. Hope Gardner finally gets a chance to shine along with new signings and we are soon back were we belong, challenging not merely making up the numbers. Peace and love to all my fellow Villains and watch out for the zombies - there out there people.

to any noses that may be on here and like to trash talk our takeover and new owner. I see you also are close to a takeover to Chinese. Mr shue and Mr kok. guess what noses you can't find nothing on them or there little group they are buying you under. they have said though they will spend up to 10 mil for new talent and promis not to sell club for at least 2 years. I am not sure how true it is, but a friend of mine who is a Chelsea fan, said that rdm is old school, leaves coaching to his staff, and manages from a far.

Oh yeah, just a side issue, the prem have been looking at our takeover for how many weeks now? yet swansea's is signed off in nine days (apologies if date times wrong), its amazing how quick things move when things are transparent eh? and by the way, sent a message to kingy about the moody new info in regard to alan hitchins, he hasn't come back yet, perhaps you'll believe him more than me, which is fair enough!

There's more scare mongering on here than the EU referendum!
If those directors are as dodgey as people think, the leagues will say we'll authorise the deal, but you cannot have xxx as director, find someone else. Directors will not a be a strong enough reason for the leagues to stop the takeover. They can easily be replaced, as we saw this season.
The only reason for the leagues stopping the deal is because the Doc is suspect and nobody has been able to find anything, so that looks unlikely at this stage. Unless a big scandal appears about the doc in the next few days, the deal should be completed and we'll be on our way. UTV.
