If this Italian goalkeeper has agreed to join Aston Villa why is he not gone to Austria somethink strange he said his joined us but he hasn't gone to austria 4 weeks and season starts still no sign of 50 million been spent! KNOCK KNOCK ASTON VILLA IS THERE ANYBODY THERE?

The guy signs 2 days ago from Italy and has probably been given some time to sort out his personal affairs ahead of joining the club back at Bodymoor when they return?
As for the 50 million quid you quote. What's more important to you; That we spend an arbitrary amount of money as soon as possible; a sort of football Brewster's Millions? Or, or we acquire some really good, solid players that plug the gaps we need ahead of the new season, be that loan, buy or promotion from the youth team?

we know most of those players are rubbish so why take then to Austria . Toner for one should have gone, also some of the youth.

It seems that the majority are keeping calm and looking forward with optimism and a cool head. Transfers made so far will improve the squad and youth players offered new contracts. Kit sales up and season tickets going well. New staff on board with more to come soon to replace those who contrived to ruin our club over successive seasons. Bring on the Championship we are Villa and this season we win when we want.

The GK has said he is joining up with the rest of the squad in Austria on Saturday. It may be frustrating seeing NUFC and LUFC signing players, but those individuals may not be on RdM wish list. They moved quickly to get Elphick when others were circling and for me they are getting the right people in place off the field to allow RdM to concentrate on team affairs. It may not be as quick as some of us would like but I do believe we are finally putting in place a sustainable infrastructure around the club to move forward on a solid foundation, which can only result in positive action taking place with the first team squad. I'm really looking forward to this season, the changes over the summer have given me renewed optimism for my AVFC.

Mad idea, kick adama's arse back to barca, 75 grand a week for what, 20 minutes of trickery last season, said it before. he's going to be a high maintenance player (when fit), not good value for money, drop kick out now before he falls over a blade of grass and has a drama fit, either loan in a winger or buy a less flashy, but more consistent player. 75 grand a week, that's taking the biscuit.

Looks like another season of pain players we would all have liked seem to be getting snapped up left right and centre and rdm seems happy with idiots that cost us premier status and who we've all moaned about yet it seems were going to give them a chance in championship well I'll run naked at villa park end of season if they do any good we seriously need to dump most of that squad and sign new players or give youth a chance I thought he would have taken most of the youngsters and gave them a shot and gor the players he wants and started bonding them yet he's took all arse holes and no sign of many new players forgive me for moaning but come on who else believes that team from last year will do any good in championship and to top it all their attitudes are all wrong bacuna carp attitude so go gabby more cards than goals.

i agree 100 per cent mate but the squads so big that it will take months to look at i think next few weeks will devide wev we go up or stay down i won't by a tshirt with championship on it i refuse to even belive we are in this league.

yes the italian goalkeeper is coming unknown again rather proven quality than unknown because the most of unknowns are crap eg what we got here now if we have money why not go and get proven talent i don't rate bamford at all really rather go 4 ings proven! the reading midfielder is average nothink special i seen him play a 4 times an let's face it reading was rubbish last year as well.
if we got ambition and money why are we not thinking big? we aren't even selling anybody because nobody wants it they may want to leave but they was that pathetic last season i can't see anybody wanting it pay them off! So far newcastle's business is a lot better than ours we are ment to be the biggest club in that league prove it go buy redmond ings costa pantilmon we need to get rid of so many our squad must be about 50 players.
