Im happy with the signings so far but forget that waste of time from spurs. I'd be happy with lennon but I still think we need a proper quality goal scorer and I'd love us to sign praet. Fingers crossed for tomorrow

Hi all 1st post even though I've been following the sight for ages. I agree with kiddyavfc that the type of signings are good as they are all have good technical ability and Gestede is just a battering ram of a player. I think we still need a proven premier league goal scorer to add to promise we have signed. Would also love players linked in Praet, Adama and the young Columbian CB. Walker or Yeldin from Spurs would be icing on cake. Good luck 2day Villa boys let our season roar.

I agree with schmitts comments earlier today about Benteke.
Benteke throwing his toys out of the pram over Tims efforts to get him scoring again.
The guy wants to man up a bit, If Sherwood had of compared him to Shearer or Van Nistelrooy rather than an old fashioned centre forward would he of reacted the same "NO"
Grow up Tekkers, it's a comment that most of us will use in this country about someone, not a character or personal attack.
Prove to people you are a top player, after all Tims comments and actions were meant to help you and above all Aston Villa.

just seen benteke's comments on sherwood and complaining about how TS was trying to give him advice and now he has thrown his toys out the pram. CB was probably in the top 5 most talented players we as a club have had in the BPL and feel like it is a bit of a silly attack against sherwood who got him back into form. wish him well at liverpool but am slightly dissapointed for him to be saying that.

JB19 - that's a bit harsh on Benteke. He shouldn't have commented on Sherwood especially after he got him playing well again but its unfair to lump him in with Delph the Snake. Are Gueye, Amavi, Veretout, Gestede et al all snakes because they moved clubs?

My bad andy villa I meant to say and the snake , I agree cb20 went and went the right way, great striker and I hope keeps improving and takes liverpool by storm , but they have gone and all I want to focus on is our newlook squad and I hope it all gels quickly !
