I'm a really big fan of jack grealish. I've only seen him play a few times but he seemed very good. Just heard that he's now tearing league 1 apart. Ye I no it's only league 1 but he still looks quality so I think he could be a missing link in our squad

Not really. He just didn't fit with our style. For me it was obvious he is always going to score goals for the right team as he is still quality. I also wish him the best of luck for making the England squad. But for the wages he was on it was not right for him to be a villa to be a bench warmer.
Why would he wish that?
Bent had ample time to prove whether or not how would could fit into the Villa team or not and he proved conclusively that he couldn't
The odd goal for Fulham doesn't really do anything to change that
Hi Mendax, I am not sure that Bent got a fair crack of the whip with PL. I think that his pay packet went in front of his ability and he is capable of changing the direction of a game as his style is different to Bens. Kozak is not a Ben replacement and he doesn't alter our approach but Bent could have, even as a sub.
To be honest mate, I probably have a bit of a blind spot with Bent and am pretty unforgiving
The reason is that the first game I saw him in last year was also Bentekes debut against Swansea
Bent had an absolutely wretched game. So much so that the crowd actually cheered when he eventually won a header (it took about an hour in coming).
Benteke came on with 20 minutes to go scored one, should have had another and altogether looked a class apart.
