now we have got rid of a defensive minded manager and got one that plays attacking football this should get the best out of bent,gabby,nzogbia,ireland and even hutton ???

Why do villa always go for second best when it comes to players and managers. I doubt whether they will ever compete with the top half of the premiership? Never mind there's always the baggies!

I'll ask you the same question? what is it like living in the shadows of the so called mighty baggies? oh and us and wolves?? yes albion done better then us this season fair play to them it wasn't hard really but just because they finish above us for one season it doesn't make them bigger then villa when they have stayed in the prem more years then villa and finished above villa more times then villa have above them, won more cups and won the european cup then yes they will be a bigger club and we will be in their shadows but until then villa are still the bigger team by far!

People, don't rise to the bait. There are clearly Birmingham and Albion fans on here trying to wind us all up. Never forget that both of those clubs define themselves by what we do or don't do rather than by their own achievements..ie the Baggies finish above us and they call it a good season.If we finished bottom and they finished a place above us it would still be a good season. Blues fans are even worse.They would happily accept a relegation from the league entirely if it meant we were relegated from the prem. Both these clubs know it and we should never forget it
