Gents/ladies, I am still 99.9% sure that the source where this info has come from will come good, and indeed after speaking to them this morning, I am also told now that Ancelotti will indeed be staying at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club from Monday, and as we all well know, this place is just a stones throw from Bodymoor Heath Training Ground.
One paper is reporting that RL arrives on Monday to further the search for our new manager! My source has once agin this morning reassured me that Villa all ready know who they want and that a deal has been put together in order to attain his services, but any deal will obviously need RL's final permission to be passed and rubber stamped.
Do people really think that if I had any doub't about where my info came from that i'd of posted it on here? Because the last thing that I would do is to place myself on a pedastal to get knocked off later on.
Believe people. They say that silence is golden, and at this very moment in time AVFC are been very silent, deals like this can sometimes take a little longer than first thought, but I for one know that my source has never been wrong before.

Can the person who put the first post please explain how they feel now, after ancelotti has ruled himself out? Your source is full of sh$t! I play golf at the foa hotel and he is not there! It's time to face facts that we are going to end up with a clown like Steve McClaren. People should stop fooling themselves by thinking we are getting ancelotti and going to spend big because we are not. We will finish between 7th and 10th next season where we belong. Rainieri would be a class act at the Villa. Should have been given one more season at Chelsea and he would have won the premiership, after all
Mourinho used his players to do it. Went on to achieve success with Parma, Juventus and Roma. He would create a brilliant team at the villa and the best out of the current players. Proper tactician - just look at his record villains. Forza Claudio!

Realistically, I can see villa getting a few good summer signings what with hopefully a good manager like moyes coming in and with the 30m+ from young and downing. The likes of Ba and Klose are on free bees but their wages could be out of our league.
Villa definately need to splash the cash on a good centre half but with a price tag of 18m on cahill and 10m on dann they arent gonna go cheap. Huth has a rating of around 6m but there has been no interest at all (and with 9 goals to his name that would make him villas joint top goalscorer) Samba could be on his way to arsenal so it looks like we've got little chance there. Hopefully Villa can buy walker off spurs. (The fee could be around 7m)
It looks like we're gonna relie on luke young to fill LB next season. We have been linked with jose enrique and izaguirre but with barcelona, man u, liverpool and arsenal on the hunt that's not gonna happen.
What with Friedel off to spurs I think now would be an opportunity to get given. He's definitely looking for a move away from city. Foster would also be a great addition if blues would allow it. Sadly it looks like its gonna be al habsi in the region of 3 to 5m.
In the midfield Villa are gonna have a big change around what with Coker already gone and Downing and Young on their way Villa we need to bring in some big names. N'Zogbia I feel would be able to replace either Downing and Young and I'm sure for a lot cheaper to. Matt Jarvis would be great to but I personally I don't think we need him.
Thankfully we've got Albrighton coming up the ranks and so we won't need to search for another winger. Matt Jarvis would be great to but I personally I don't think we need him. Charlie Adam is likely to come to Villa hopefully for no more than 10m. Parker is highly unlikely to come to Villa as Spurs are hot favourites to get him.
Kevin Nolan would be a brilliant signing and a fantastic replacement for Petrov if he was to go to Celtic or Rangers. 12 goals this for a midfielder is outstanding especially as he's at Newcastle and not a top 4 side. To sign him would be a miracle! Joe Cole would be a big risk as he hasnt played regular team football but he has got quality.
Upfront I'm sure Bent will be just as deadly next season as he was this. Maybe if Agbonlahor pulls his weight as well we could push for a top 7 finish next season. There is a chance of bringing in Ba or Klose as I've mentioned, Defoe or maybe Chamack. Out of them names I would certainly prefer Defoe but Ba on a free deal would save us some cash and again it would be a big risk to sign Chamack as like Joe Cole he lacks regular team football.
