15 million down the drain, Johnny Kodjia scores again! 7 wins in 8, 7 clean sheets in 8, clean sheet against burton and I'm sure we've matched a record. 7 goals in 7 games for the big man aswell, can you push your asking price upto 27 million now Dave? ;)

Look chris, I think Kodjia is a good player for us, and I have never doubted his ability.
And my opinion of him is still the same, if he was more of a team player I would not sell him for 30 million.

So until his mentality changes yes I would sell if someone came in for him.
That is my opinion, it does not bother me in the slightest who agrees with me or not, what I do object to is when people question that opinion and try to make out you are some sort of idiot for having it.
I thought Luc Nilis was class, my best mate did not, that's life, we will never know.

Dave I agree with a lot of things you say, because you back your points up and make sense and don't pull things out your ****, your post yesterday to me read a bit like opposites. However it is just a banter page I was just trying to understand what u meant. Still waiting for your window cleaner tho to be honest.

05 Apr 2017 14:41:28
Ok yesterdays post was maybe not clear enough for you, so point taken.
As for the window cleaner who's name is also Chris, he said he will do yours when Everton play at VP when we are back in the prem, kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

Dave I can't wait 10 years.

Villadave. I know what you mean about Nilis. I had wanted us to sign him for 5/ 6 years before we eventually did. His partnership with Van Nistelrooy was as good as anything I've ever seen. He was on the way down when we signed him but I was still gutted when his career ended as it did. Especially after his goal against Chelsea. Total quality player.

Yeah Mendax it would have been great if we could have got him a couple of years earlier, real quality.
My buddy was short sighted and had a cast in his left one anyway, hahaha.

Another win and another clean sheet . First half we played some realy good stuff, in their faces, knocking it about . What happened second half? We did the same as the last few games stopped pressing, sat back and allowed them to start playing . I know we need to keep winning, but we make very hard work of it .
Jedinac was as usual different class, his effort and commitment was brilliant . Bacuna for someone who hasent played for a few weeks, had a good game . Brucie should have got Green on for Amavi sooner, Amavi went on some good runs, but then kept giving it away . They must have a word with Johnson aswell, he's started punching the ball away to much . He was punching, even when he had nobody around him . The Scottish Cafu, was at it again, the amount of blocks he gets in is amazing.
Onwards&Upwards Villaforever.

Seems the villa way to make it hard mate, Green came on but you could tell he hadn't played in a while, wasn't very sharp or with the game. Had so many chances to put them to bed. 3 points is 3 points tho aye.

Now davey moyes may be a bit dour, and not come across as a man to have a pint and a laugh with, but he's a genuine football man and a genuine fella, the mouthpiece in the interview asked the question to get a reaction, and moyes for a split second let down his guard and said what every manager would probably be thinking and would love to say, so the lady got what she wanted, bully for her.

moyes ever the professional apologised, that should be it, but being all trappy and taking the moral high ground, why its the friendly neighbourhood, self-righteous gary (mary whitehouse) lineker, why doesn't he just wind his neck in shut it, 'inexcusable' he witters on, now the f.a. are to investigate.

moyes was wrong to say it in a moment of error, but good old saint gary has to rant on, if moyes gets any fine or worse, i think we should start a petition to get him removed from doing match of the day, the smug little so and so.

The way I see it, she was asking question she that were beyond what she needed to, questions that you'd struggle to pluck up to ask your mates about and she asked them as if it was a jovial subject.

had it been a male interviewer he would have said "just because your a journalist you may still get a slap" it was a woman so he said "just because your a woman you may still get a slap", laughing as to come across not as serious.

He was incorrect for what he said but it shouldn't be as big a deal it is and she should apologise for the nature of the questions.

West Indies cricket captain was fined for asking a female journalist out during an interview.
Moyes is being hammered for making a jokey response to a question that he would have made to a male reporter.

I have no doubt that 90% of us have said "you'll get a slap" speaking to a friend.
It's not sexist it is a simple style of speak. The feminist police are at it again.

Oldvillan - ain't that the truth!

Saw a video of some feminazi ideologue saying he should 'consider his position' and that she hoped her daughter would look back at incidents like this and laugh at how it was ever this way. Personally I don't want to live her Orwellian vision of the future where your freedom of speech is non existent and everything you say is scrutinized by an unelected body of authoritarians who's immediate response to anyone not towing the party line is to go after their job.

What happened to the idea of 'I might not agree with what you have to say but I stand by your right to say it'?

AndyVilla, don't let saint lineker hear you talking like that, i heard lineker has just landed a contract promoting womens' sanitary towels allegedly! which is quite apt bearing in mind he's a See You Next Tuesday!
