Am I the only one thinking it or the only one old enough to remember, but I can't believe no-one has said it - Kozac, who loves ya baby.
I thought it was Kodak, "now you have it in black & white. "
Obviously the transfer window closed too soon as now we have nothing to "banter. "

Why are people moaning about the signing of Kozak for £7million. He is a good player and knows where the goal is. Look what happened to the last player we brought for £7million now he turned out quite good so why can't Kozak.

So that's It! the transfer deadline has now passed so up until January we've got what we've got. Personally I think we are short of a couple of positions squad-wise, but content with the acquisitions we have made.
With no rumours on the horizon i'd like to suggest predictions on the starting 11 for newcastle. i'd go with the following:
Guzan
RB Lowton CB Okore CB Vlaar LB Luna
CM Delph CM Westwood CM Sylla
AM Helenius
ST BenTekkers ST Kojak
No Gabby?
Weimann and gabby missing u mad there both quality players. Got to swap Sylla and Helenius for gabby and Weimann. We need more attacking power we don't want to become a defensive team. And lambert won't use Helenius as an AM he sees him as a striker.
I agree we need gabby and weimann but what has happened to gardner the best prospect of all?

Just because we sign Kozak doesn't mean he starts first game, Lambert will want to ween him in like he has done with all new and fresh faces.

is the free agent window still open? just wondering because psg have released momo sissoko so can teams snap him up on a free? think he would be a great addition to our squad, he would surely get more games than kozak wouldn't he? {Ed001's Note - free agents can be signed in the next couple of months, so long as they were out of contract before the transfer window just shut.}

Now that the window is closed and we know what we have, what do we see as the future style of play? We are equipped for counter attack but can we adjust to teams that block off the runners? Also how do we see the defence, is it strong enough?
Did we need another striker said by Lambert to be similar to Benteke?
Or could Lambert be looking at utilising a 6ft 4 striker at the back?
Dont laugh, Alun Evans came to VP as a forward and went into the back and became possibly the best No 5 Villa had in most of our lifetimes.
Some will say "who" but believe me he was a rock, cleared the ball with his head to the half way line. Oh by the way, he was part of the European cup winning team.
Need to play a 4-2-3-1 formation. The defence is strong enough to cope got some good versatile players as well. We will be fine a mid table finish then we push on next year.
