Having seen the press conference I now have no doubt about Terry or Bruce I will always have doubts with things but that's because the clubs been through so much rubbish it sought of makes you see things in a negative way. Few things that did it for me is Steve Bruce gets you need big players at Aston Villa and if he can take his time and get big players Iam happy to wait make no doubt about it tho we need to go up this season no more excuses. As for Mr. John Terry if he can be a leader and rub that wining mentality off on these players then that's great but leave the wives and the racism at the door. Iam now excited for the season. Question for all you lot its about Wolves if financial fair play is a big key and you can only spend what you generate eg like us why can they go out and pay 15 million out on a midfielder who is class by the way when they spent a mint last year on costa an the other 2 who all cost more than 10 million each where are they generating money from to spend all this? Maybe the edds know?

Spoilt your post by commenting on racism and players wives.
We have a high profile player that the media will track endlessly for whatever reason.
Lesser players will do similar and the media will ignore them.

The racist remark was in a football match against QPR wasnt the media who said it and it wasnt the media who told Wayne Bridge that john terry was sleeping with his wife. His a great player all Iam saying is leave that stuff at the door.

There are plenty of people in this world who are racist and cheat on partners! It's unfortunately life
Not knowing John Terry personally who are we to judge his reasons for certain actions?
He could of been goaded by Anton Ferdinand prior to making a racist comment .
Also Wayne Bridges mrs may of thrown herself at him . and he thought why not
We all make mistakes and have to live with them .
I don't care what JT does in his private life as long as he gives everything he has for the villa . The rest is irrelevant
The same can be said for all the other villa players . Your personal life is irrelevant aslong as your performances on the pitch are what we all want
Grealish has made several high profile mistakes in his personal life . are they our concern . Well yes they are as his performances haven't been great. However if his performances was better we wouldn't give a 💩.

Delighted terry has signed I still think he has lots to offer yeah he might have lost a yard of 2 but has a great football brain so 9 times of 10 that makes up for his lack of pace, to be fair he was never the quickest I think we will be playing 3 at the back with Jedinak dropping in aswell I think ruddy is next in door which would be just as big a statement as terry and then we look pretty solid at the back which is something that can't be siad for a good few years now amavi will be sold I haven't heard of any roumers who is going to replace him, I'm after being reading at jonny walters I have been calling for his name for a long time now as his work rate is unbelievable he isiant the most skill full or even a house hold name but every game you know your going to get 110% out him I think with terry ruddy and Walters we have leaders and winners for me with these 3 we have a team more than capable of winning this league.

This one signing could prove pivotal when SB looks at other players.
JT in the team means that we will look very attractive to some other players, but to some of the currant team it may simply be the kick start that they need and they may end up being the player that they believe they are.
Only some of them, others have got no chance!

Good signing in Terry but last season our main problem was scoring goals and this is the main objective for me,
We have 3 proven championship scorers in squad so it's a no brainer for me Bruce needs to work out how to get them scoring,
First 15-20 games will tell me if Bruce is really the man for us,
He has no excuses we have the strongest squad in championship on paper that is,

Spot on. This will sort out the men from the shirking freeloaders. No more hiding at the back hoping no-one will notice you. This is exactly what we have been missing - a strong no-nonsense captain of this calibre. One of our best signings in years - well done Mr Bruce and Mr Round.
