A pleasant good evening to Villa kenn, i'm only relaying via the medium of this forum what rumours are circulating about, bearing in mind its the season of silly associations i'm not saying every rumour heard is definitely true, but with no murmurs from the sacred alter of villa park and the local rag up to its usual sub standard, i thought i'd share what a few mates who move in circles had told me while speaking to sports bloggers.

i thought it might provide a mild distraction from the tedium of no comment, wait and see scenario, i'm more than happy to sit back and just reflect on things, like no longer buying the sunday papers and diving to the back pages to see the latest gossip because we no longer move in those circles (cheers lerner), so no i'm not saying look at us, we no longer shop at waitrose, now its lidl (no offence to lidl).

but the rumours doing the rounds are (if true) we want experience over buying rookies where possible, and if that means players released by other clubs with maybe a season or 2 left in the tank then let's at least look at them, give them a trial, assess their capabilities and if justified give them a low cost contract with a big bonus attached if certain goals are met.

maybe not what we want to hear, but if it gets us up in a year, crack on rdm, or if this my posts don't enthuse, just skip to the one's quoting the papers verbatim. i'm sure the local rag always tries its best for us, enjoy your read. UTV.

I see flabby has come out and stated he is 100 percent committed to AV and returning to the PL. Are you kidding me? You think you can just decide when you are committed and when you are not, he is getting paid a small fortune every week. He brings negativity to the change room when things are not going his way. He needs to go, he is a toxic leech and does not deserve another look in.

03 Jul 2016 19:00:29
Agree with you VillaSA, and he does need to go ASAP.
Toxic leech a bit harsh though.

03 Jul 2016 20:17:07
Yip maybe a little harsh. I just can't except his behaviour last season. From what I heard he was responsible for turning some of the team members on Remi Garde. Needs to go.

03 Jul 2016 20:39:51
I feel the same as you mate, I think he is useless and has got by with pace alone, and like you I feel his behaviour and conduct have been shocking.
He is technically useless and if he is one to one with a goalkeeper there is only going to be one winner, and it ain`t the Gabster.
No he has to go, we have seen him at his best and that never impressed me at all, so get rid.

04 Jul 2016 09:54:12
what right has he got to start to dictate what he wants - he is one of the main reasons we are where we are - got to go the sooner the better.

04 Jul 2016 10:56:34
well he has training to prove his worth to the new boss, and if he looks poor get rid. he's been clinging onto his place for 2 or 3 years now, i think now is the time he "put up or shut up" give him few weeks and if he dosent show his worth get rid.

Ssshhh, say no more, seems we're now ducking and diving like old del boy. now these players are apparently on our radar if plan 'A' doesn't pan out. seems we like the look of our neighbours' cast-offs. how do you fancy andy wilkinson then? did i mention steve sidwell (a retread i know!) and the cream of the crop, peter odimwinge!

now it seems we're not above looking at Wolves' players as well. seems we are doing missionary work and saving them from a life of drudgery, but what's that on the horizon? well by george it's another chinese consortium come to join the party. blimey, we better start putting the road signs in chinese underneath soon, and i know what your thinking, 'who gives a crispy fried duck about that group, but competition is competition.

funny how the bamford rumour has gone, ravel morrison is where? and i think gunter is going to be in demand from premier league clubs. Sheffield wednesday are apparently focusing all their efforts on mcshortmack. how about a punt on lansbury?

i mean, the teams short on its quota of tats (thats short for tatoos not a misspelling). so, do we fancy some more retreads to keep the cost down, maybe rdm is a lot shrewder than we thought. if he favours a regular rotation system it might be a stroke of genius.

that is, bring in billy, bundles of experience, don't risk a rookie error costing us. again these rumours are from low down no good scandal merchants, or mates as i call them who work in media projection (i haven't got a scooby doo either, they call it hipster speak, i think its commonly called b.s) but hey, i'll take their left-field rumours over the rag that loves us with a vengeance!

Cof82 having seen your posts on here for quiet a while now

Do you ever have anything positive to say? Or do you
Just live in the glory years of 82.

90 percent of all the players we are linked with is BS and lazy journalism. So we actually don't know if we are missing out on these players because we actually don't know if they are even in RDM's plans. I have no idea why you are stressing out so much. RDM would not have taken the job if we wasn't going to be able to bring the players in that he wants and have the funds to do so. You need to relax and wait, for heaven sake transfer season has just opened and you are already dooming and glooming.

'Its like having a new signing on board, the hunger and enthusiasm has been more than expected'-have a guess
who that was about-yes it would appear that lovable rogue and sometime takeaway king the gabster is seemingly back in vogue-now could that be the reason we're not as urgent as we should be in our search for a new striker? maybe rdm is willing and able to re-invent that rascal, if he does, maybe just maybe we'll be chanting his name for all the right reasons, i'll start it off-give me a "G", give me an"A".

03 Jul 2016 00:38:08
Give me a R give me a B next person?

03 Jul 2016 06:45:56
Gimme an A, gimme a G.

UTV.

03 Jul 2016 07:15:34
I'm not giving you an e! .

Gimme a gun, gimme a bullet.

03 Jul 2016 15:37:18
Ha ha flackie, i know your game, if you think i'm going to stand behind gabby so you get a 2 for 1 shot think again!
