tbf i thought houlliers squad managment was good ;the way he rotated the team around giving the youngsters ago and so and so mon never did that and his transfers also good : bent 18 million pure quality i dnt know many villa fans that havnt sed we need a top striker and we got one fairly cheap too. makoun also quite good player in the midfield and walker also good on loan however houllier just didn't get us the results untill the end of the season (in the prem that's too late)!

I agree I just found that Houllier made the wrong decision in terms of the substitutes like when we needed a goal he decided to bring on pires instead of albrighton or agbonlahor! Still like you said MON would never have bought a player for over 10 million

villa fans should be counting their lucky stars that Houllier agreed to manage them. Wanting him out just shows how shallow their footballing knowledge is.

If Rafa joins, again it will be your lucky day, but you'd probably rather Moyes due to inherent racism.

Wot team do u support then?houllier great manager but he has to go due to health reasons i don't hate him i thought he did well for us and i know if he stayed would bring in great players !rafa aint coming to villa and if he does that's fine with me

Lfc of course. Normally I wouldn't post here, but had to vent frustrations due to reading so much hate against Houllier.

From what i've seen he has revolutionised your youth setup in about two weeks making sweeping changes for the better for the future, bought a top striker at a relatively low price (for his goals per season) made much better use of the squad than MON ever did - villa used to lose so many end of season games to fatigue. . and villa fans slated him and chanted for him to be out after 1 month due to him clapping lfc fans at anfield.

You may say I'm a hypocrite due to our treatment of Roy (which was poor at times) but Houllier is twice the manager Hodgson is.

Villa always has gotten tired during the last games of the season it was the same with O'Neill , ive never givein out about houllier , i agree with you on the set up houllier has for the youth squad , and bent has been brillient for villa , the one concern i had was his health and hoped it wouldn't happen to him again as for roy i thought he would go good for liverpool some fans didn't want him and other did
