Guess it's all the crap I'm reading from non villa people trying to poison us with the shit that owner isn't fit and 2 managers turn us down all the waiting has got to me and reading all the tosh but when u think about it yeh nowt can be done too soon until we're officially out prem oh well the wait goes on hope it's worth it.

30 May 2016 22:02:24
it's being done as we speak. prem and champ are working together.

31 May 2016 00:25:04
Work behind the scenes would have already of begun on rebuilding the squad etc, things will move very quickly when Dr. Xia gets the nod so no worries.
You don't see kingvilla getting down, he is always optimistic when reading all the news and although not always right he always finds a good point in most everything, so hats off to him for giving us all hope through this forest of twisted facts and i for one am looking forward to the beginning of the season for a change.

30 May 2016 18:37:11
You people do panic an awful lot. i seriously would not like to have to rely on you in a real crisis lol. The owner, manager and new players will all be in place before a ball is kicked next season. The old saying goes "good things come to those who wait" so all i say is calm down and wait lads, there is no panic and i will bet you any money that you like that it all turns out ok for the start of the new season just have bit of faith.

30 May 2016 19:06:01
Thanks, I think!

I agree!

30 May 2016 21:29:04
totally agree.

31 May 2016 09:25:23
I agree with The Brain (or as Flackie would spell it The Brian ;) ) - keep the faith. At least all the serial ranters and negative posters are contained here to vent their particular brand of bizarre behaviour. otherwise they'd all be down Corporation St shouting at buses.

31 May 2016 09:57:22
Lol how rude!

31 May 2016 10:00:34
I think I'm antiseptic wittonwisdom!

Breaking reports are saying the whole of the local population of cats have surrounded villa park and it looks like their not moving, local press reporters have spoken to the cats representative, a 'mr. top cat' who said the reason was simple, something smells fishy!

look, this is dragging on way too long, i get that we have to wait till tomorrow (apparently) before the domino effect starts, but you'd think someone would make a statement of intention, if for no other reason than to placate the fans, the press and the footballing world, the thing the press are focusing on are that the players are in limbo and to expect a phone call in the next few weeks confirming when their coming back for training, not good enough.

the true professionals will keep themselves in trim (in all honesty, in case a club comes in for them) but for the likes of gorging gabby, or gabby the ganet, its a worry, its not good enough, what about identifying targets and speaking to agents, assessing the squad (i think we know the answer there), whose in charge right now, poor old kevin mcdonald is left holding the baby as usual, unsung hero as far as i'm concerned.

this is where we need to be speaking to the targets' agents so come the window officially opening, the leg work is done, if we leave it to the last minute we run the risk of being turned down because the players' club will say they've got no time to sign a replacement, is there any chance someone in the hallowed halls could grow a pair and formulate a plan of action, whose taking over from paddy reilly, commoli we hear, he's not renowned for his knowledge of the lower leagues, so big players, big money, if so, not impressed.

no big time charlies needed here (enough of that already), we need to get our toe down double quick sharpish, the clock is ticking, if your listening dr. xia, forget rdm, get us steve bruce, and then let's get on with it, because you can be sure newcastle and the carrot crunchers will be., fact.

30 May 2016 19:06:59
what! 😡.

30 May 2016 19:07:39
Well said. 👍.

30 May 2016 20:49:31
Great stuff again 82, are you ready for the PC brigade backlash lol?

UTV.

30 May 2016 21:49:26
calm down 82 you will give yourself a nose bleed. things will start to move tomorrow.

30 May 2016 21:46:13
Tin hat check, flak jacket check, i'm just amazed at how quickly we take the word of a man will only answer questions to a certain point, dig too deep, the shutters go down, but still we believe, we've dismissed david bernstein and mervyn king walking away out of hand, all to do with the old regime blah blah, mr. bernstein, an accountant whose been in football for many many years, probably seen a few shaddy deals on th table in his time, knows a wrongun too i'd say, mr. king, used to know a bit anout money too i hear, they both walk away from the table, tell you what lads, just sweep that under the carpet and carry on, the deal with dr. xia may go ahead, but at what price in the long run, we'll see.

30 May 2016 22:20:23
I 100% hope your right kingvilla, or we're going to miss the summer sales, and there we'll be, in the bargain basement section, we need a plan and someone to implement it sooner rather than later, otherwise dr. xia and his plan to be up in 1 season ain't going to happen, surely you all must see this for crying out loud.

30 May 2016 22:37:20
Let them have a go, that way their leaving someone else alone!

31 May 2016 04:22:42
a list of players will already be on the table that the new manager wants. plans will be going on behind the scenes and will all start to come together over the next few weeks. there will still be players queing up to come to the villa even after last season. the only challenge for a signature will be Newcastle. up against any other championship side they would choose us hands down. I mean oh I'm Joe blogs I've got offers on the table from Burton Rotherham and aston villa. no brainer really no disrespect to those teams. no need to panic yet there really isn't.

31 May 2016 06:21:34
Kingvilla your an optimistic fella, your predictions head in the right direction, but let's smell the coffee here, the only players coming to us are either mercenaries, or using us as a stepping stone, now i'm not naive enough to think any different, that's football, as for a list of players, what connections has rdm got, please don't say german, he was only there for under a season, he's been out of the italian game for years and i haven't heard reports of him turning up at games over here.

the only person possibly making a list of players for us is commoli, and honestly, he's used to big time players, bit out of our price range, although he may have the inside track on up and coming players from abroad i'll grant ya, but didn't we try something like that last season? now as for rdm (if he the boss), he would surely need to see the players in training before making his mind up, their on their jolly hollies so he'll have to wait at least 2 weeks before their back.

he could watch videos of our last season, but that would probably mean him wanting 16 new players! so yet again we'll have to wait, and that means running the risk of missing out on players who know the league and could do the job we need.

so in essence we have a manager (there's no doubt he's good) with no inside track of players for this league, a director of football with a slightly chequered past, putting forward players we'll probably be buying off the strength of a promotional dvd (sounds familiar), and paying a premium for because the barcodes and the 'keep it in the family' mob will no doubt be after the same players.

the perfect recipe for a summer bun fight, and lots of counting to ten and deep breathing exercises, but there again, it could all go swimmingly with no hitches or glitches, i'm praying for option 2.

30 May 2016 16:25:21
We're a laughing stock still no owner no manager useless players who are wasters and all taking the piss.

30 May 2016 17:16:59
i agree somthink should been done soonier.

30 May 2016 17:38:52
He can't be confirmed until after Tuesday as we are not a championship club until then!

30 May 2016 17:54:05
Why are we a laughing stock? Owner waiting on the football league, manger waiting on the owner. transfer window not open, our players on international duty or holiday.

30 May 2016 18:24:33
Dont panic just yet i'm sure all sorts of plans are being made behind the scenes and like ruggrz and Flackie say all players are on holiday anyway. Ingore the papers that are saying we're a shambles because the player's don't know when to return to training. Why does that matter when it's not even June? Now is a time for patience!

30 May 2016 11:42:26
What players would everybody like to see come in during the transfer window? Would you prefer youth or experience?

A goalkeeper, a right back, a centre back, a midfielder and a striker is a must for me.

Would like to see Christie or Iorfa at RB, Lewis Dunk or Callum Chambers (loan) at CB - Lasse Vigen Christensen, Lewis Cook or Alex Mowett in MF would be ideal as well. GK and Striker is a bit trickier, what do you guys think?

Assuming we are getting rid of Richards, Lescott, Richardson, Nzogbia, Agbonlahor - i'd like to give the rest of the squad a second chance although maintaining players like Okore, Amavi, Gueye and Ayew will be difficult I know.

30 May 2016 15:46:51
The type of player is most important rather than a "name"
A defender like Vidic no nonsense on the floor or the air has to be top of the list.
A midfielder with goals and a mean streak, let's see, Charlie Adam fits in there.
We have some already that could shine this season Traore Gil, Sinclair given the right chance (City and Chelsea can't both be wrong) .
Whoever stays or arrives we must play them in a formation that they understand. Too much money is wasted on players that are great in the middle then they get played at the back.
Goalkeeper, well what can one say.
My old Mom stopped a lot of sh. when I was young so she could do it again. But seriously there are a lot of good shotstoppers in the lower leagues or in Europe.
If our French connection will stay we have a nucleus of developing guys so the outlook is good.
The best piece of business was getting rid of Lerner!

Yeah, totally agree, I wonder what route the club will take? Personally I would like to see us invest in youth and develop promising players but we don't have that luxury as the championship is hugely competitive - Charlie Adam is a good suggestion, not the most headline grabbing signing but certainly one that would do a job.

30 May 2016 10:42:47
Morning fellow villa fans yes its question time again if lescott bacuna okore or richards and gabby stay are you going to continue to boo them? i hear people say 4get last season this season a fresh start so will you boo still or 4 give and forget? PATO on playing at villa park. i have never played in a environment like that it was like a home game as villa fans booed there own players havnt had that before! CAN YOU 4 GIVE OR YOU GOING TO CONTINUE TO BOO IF THEY STAY?

30 May 2016 15:53:09
Most of those you have named should go, only Okores is worth keeping. He threw his toys for being played every third game while Lescott and Richards got the nod.
Next season is the future and hopefully we will not have to show our displeasure as certain players will get the message.

30 May 2016 09:57:28
We are nearly on the edge of something great about to happen to our club, a new era, where we could all be in the start of a great new adventure, a ride to possible get us back to European elite, so what do us as villa fans do?
We talk about the last season, about the failings of a previous regime, and talk that these new people are making the same errors.

We are close to appointing a new manager, one who has won the champions league, has massive ideas and plans, and what do we do, talk about him already failing, that he is the wrong man and out his depth!

why would anyone want to
A) buy us
B) manage us
C) play for us

When no matter what, we have already deemed them failures, and will be on their backs from kick off.

All you read is negativity, failures and what should been done or doing instead!
Crazy!

Why don't we try moving on, putting last season where it belongs, and getting behind the new team, including manager, and make us a unified force.

30 May 2016 10:45:36
Hear hear well put flacks.

30 May 2016 11:13:02
Well put flackie totaly agree the last 4/ 5 seasons have been dire we have now paid the price, was the same when RG came couple games later some was screaming for his head the poor bloke didn't have any funds and had about 7/ 8 retards to contend with who knows what he could have done with the right backing however as you say the past is past let's move on get behind DR X and whoever he appoints as manager and push on back to the prem where we belong no more bleating about what was or could of been let the new boys sort out the retards europe here we come!

VTID

PS. (I'M VOTING OUT)
