I know it sounds sad but Friday nights I drink with a couple of mates who happen to be bluenoses, when the story first broke with our financial demise I have never seen such a massive smirk on the faces when I walked in the pub, it's all they could talk about all night. It's Karma that on the day we officially get the all clear from the EFL that small heath have their transfer embargo confirmed and their financial position is far far worse than ours ever was. It's quite sad really (I don't think) that no matter what happens at Villa Park we can always be grateful that we were born claret and blue and can get immense satisfaction that we always seem to be able to rub their noses in the proverbial claret and blue.

Hopeful, the club I use, is full of them . Very funny, as you say not a lot of football talk lately. Funny with the noses, when there’s more than one of them, they love to rip you apart, if you react they say it’s just banter . Now this one sided banter, can wear you down after a few years . So if any of you live, anywhere near, the Marston Green Social, we could do with more Villa supporters . As you say nice the way it worked out . The day we get new (Extreamly rich ) owners, we find noseville is worse off than we where .

Well the bookies have villa to finish in top 4which is good they have derby to finish above us, I definitely think we will be in play off potions, at end of season but if we get off to winning start we could get auto places easy, there's no wolves or fulham this year, yeah wba, stoke have spent but none have made any amazing signings where u think yep he's class, it's all to play if kodja stays fit an bangs the goals like he did b4 injury then we have the best striker in league plus with jck an green an Chester jedi we have that experience. villa could get top 2 easy.

Havent seen much of Ben Woodburn is he good an what posion does he play,

He looks a decent prospect and could well do well in the championship
My only concern is developing others players for there clubs while ignoring our own,
We have some decent young players but bruce seems to prefer the usual older players,
I find this disappointing if I'm honest.

I'm not saying we should not go for him I did not say that,
I'm talking about our own players in general are not getting the chances they deserve,
Woodburn I would welcome into our squad no doubt,
It's the likes of ohare, Hayes, Davis when fit, Clark, who could do good jobs for us,
But under bruce he is not the best manager to blood kids.

With all the new changes, on the merchandising side, can I say well done . for the first year ever, we haven't got a shirt for the start of a season . From what I can gather, everything is now online . Obviosly they didn't expect to sell many, as they are sold out already . Next shipment expected 25 th August, as last year not a lot of thought gone into it . Bring back the old days, go down the shop and buy one . Got a suitcase full in the loft . My son had one on for Wembley, the one with the fine stripes . Somebody offered him £250 for it, because it was an original. didn't sell it of course .
