Today highlighted the need for a quality striker, controlled the first half could of had 3 or 4 goals of Gustede actually made runs, took chances, read the game and was better all round on the ball, he often slowed or broke build up play and then was no where to be seen to finish the move!

gollini 5 hutton 5 baker 6 elphick 5 aly cissoko 5 bacuna 5 grelish 6 gardner 7 westwood 6 gestede 5 ayew 5. sub tishbola 7. now my report on the game which i must stress are my views only. 1st half very lively much the better side but service was poor nothink for rudy nor ayew to attack rudy is crying out for crosses still not playing to his strengths but even still completly out played boro a prem side! 2nd half gave away a soft goal giving the ball away and to be honest we completly caved in like so many times last season i happen to think tho the team was lacking fitness and to be honest it really told it was 3.1 but should of been 4 but boro missed a sitter. but let's not 4get the 1st half performance great positive but 2nd half boro punished villa through sloppy mistakes! amavi was on the bench aswel. but my over all view is get these lads fiter an try an buy a right bk a winger a central mid an a striker! Xia on twitter again after said when asked if players will come in he replyed. Yes yes players will come in but we have quality already here and they need your support! i don't think this chairman is really rich as people made out but money isn't the answer here attuides are get the right attuide we will fly up the league!

I think if RDM is going to rely on the fullbacks attacking width, we will need someone to replace Hutton. Amavi will be able to do that job on the left but I don't believe the same can be said of Hutton on the right.

Need 3 across the back + the two f/ backs playing alongside and ready to move forward. Backs when needed wingers when required.
We need imagination in the middle with support and then somebody who knows where to put the ball.

His legs were going years ago which was why Tottenham got rid. The Championship is no place for a player like that.

Can we somehow get hold of RDM and start a petition to sign Britt Assombalonga? I've seen this guy play a few times now and think he's a perfect player for us, he's strong, quick, has a eye for goal and is definitely a more profitable signing. Any thoughts on what you guys think? I really rate this guy and would love him at my beloved Villa! UTV.

he is a class act if it wasnt for that serious injury he would prob be a prem player but after big injurys managers get put off but yes his very good i like him.

What I say is nothing personal Know it all I just hate negativity with a passion. My daughter was in hospital with a illness and watching little children smiling and be happy even though some are seriously ill gave me a new outlook of life so here's hoping Know it all that you keep it up bud UTV VTMLDB.

Sometimes I think we lose perspective on here. Relegation was a disappointment not a catastrophe. The same could be said of failing to get promoted at first attempt.
