After a sabatical, i thought i'd ease back in with the softly, softly approach, we have funds of between 30 mill and 50 mill. now i'm going to assume that amount is for the whole season, so is rdm spending a bit but saving a bit in case of injuries? someone told me that this season the league will not be allowing emergency loan deals so that will take care of that avenue.
the two big questions we should be asking are do the sales generated cash go into the war chest and secondly, the most important question is this, if we have 50 million in the war chest (optimistic of me i know) is that for the transfer fees alone? or does it also include their annual salary i.e we buy a player for 5 mill, his annual salary is say 1 million, thus that's net 6 million out of the kitty, bearing in mind we've passed on at least 3 strikers and are being linked with the more mature striker, this would probably make more sense.
i hope i'm way off base but seeing as dr. xia is out and about trying to franchise our brand and no-one from the club deems to give us a clue, we're going to be cutting it fine (again-lessons still to learn), but i believe rdm is waiting for 2 targets to return from the euros to hear their decisions, so as usual, another frustrating couple of weeks ahead, but you never know, rdm might just pull the proverbial bunny out of the hat to cheer us up.
apparently a big name in the frame (and before some cheeky chappie with a lot of 'wisdom' knocks me off me perch you'll just have to wait your turn!, in the next installment allegations of dr. xia being a naughty boy, an episode not to be missed (i think! )

The problem is that we have been through this for the last few years u dear Lerners ownership.
Bit like the blonde down the road, lots of promises and lots of show but no end action.
Frustration grows and breeds dissatisfaction and that is where we are at present.
We the supporters are feeling cheated. Promised the earth but only getting paper reports when we want to see fresh faces.
Some time ago I asked if the funds are from new money or from selling? Is it 3o/ 40/ 50 million that DiM has got to spend or is there an unstable shed amount? Bit like Lerner!

Yes I know the window has only just opened but the only news we get is via the d/ papers and they are not finding out what is going on.
Many posters are putting names on here of players that they see as great targets but h's DiM got the money, that is the question?
