I don't want to be negative but I don't see this as a start of massive spending spree, as we have had no word on the takeover yet. Sherwood has raised 4-5 million from player sales and he said funds would be available if he could justify it to the board. Presumably this is Cleverley's replacement and the board have chipped in the extra few million.

It seems all the Benteke transfer rumour to Pool stems from Graham Beecroft ( The Wirral Squirrel) whilst on Talk crap radio.

Every other media outlet is more or less repeating his quote

Buy us out quick someone so we can get some business done.

If Big Ben wants to go then let him, he saved us from the championship 2 years on the bounce. And for that I thank him

If they don't want to play for us then good riddance.
