Villa fans heckling the players after the game at Sunderland
Well done lads; that will improve the the performances and you can tell your mates how big and clever you were. Everyone wins.

03 Jan 2016 00:15:52
Absolute disgrace.
Being beaten and bettered with skill and ability is ok. As long as you give 100%, AND STAY TOGETHER!
To abuse, insult, question there commitment, what incentive do you offer for them to try there best?? Pride??
Next year, believe me, someone will still pay them to play.

Well done boys, very inspirational, I'm sure you have inspired them to go the extra mile.

02 Jan 2016 20:10:12
Flakie the one in semi final.

02 Jan 2016 23:12:38
He had a great semi against LFC but goals were from Benteke and delph, his only goal I can recall is Leicester away this season, a cracker too!

02 Jan 2016 23:53:27
Lol haha

02 Jan 2016 18:16:10
Some fans really get on my moobs. Aston villa facebook page drives me mad.

My latest post sounds this way. "agree with a lot of the comments saying they are "leaving this because they are sick of reading the crap that AVFC writes" only differnce is i'm leaving because i'm sick of reading the horsepap some of you "FANS" write. call yourself die hard fans? utter pish. Calling for gardes head and saying guzan is at fault for all three goals. And all i ever see is play kozak.

One poster even said he's not watching or following the team anymore till next season.

02 Jan 2016 18:39:20
I agree mate, but sadly Guzan is becoming a liability.
I don't doubt is commitment, ability or drive but a goalkeeper with no confidence is a terrible combination.
He starts to second guess him self, thus becomes a little slower, less instinctive, which makes the whole back line doubt him.
He was at fault for there second however.

Priority is a keeper, striker and full back.
But today was a killing blow, may just be to late now.

yeah can't argue a keeper should never be beat from that angle at his near post. but first even the to pkeepers could sort that out. third other than maybe he should have just laced it rather than play to the lb but why are the defence playing around in the first place? clear the bloody thing.

keep reading how we are done already and we should buy for the championship but it will take a complete fluke but still fight at least,

02 Jan 2016 21:40:37
Wonder if we could get enckleman out of retirement.

07 Jan 2016 14:30:18
Enckleman one of the most underated keepers we ever had. Wasn't really given a fair chance after the blues game. It wasn't his fault Mellberg should never have thrown that ball so hard to him.

07 Jan 2016 18:21:00
Good job gestede wasnt pleaying for us then his throw in would have broke net.

07 Jan 2016 23:08:25
The side netting tough.

02 Jan 2016 18:13:02
Lack of belief/fight is alarming.
I'm speechless.

The chant we sang 'randy Lerner, what a w****r!' So apt

07 Jan 2016 18:23:24
Best thing Randy Lerner ever did was repossess my MBNA card.

02 Jan 2016 17:34:21
I am getting worried that Garde has taken on more than he is capable of achieving. Why did he leave Okore on the bench? He has Ben our best defender when on the pitch. Richards is not a central defender, he is a R/ B.
Or is Okore on his way very soon as part of the plan for the championship.
Kozak came on late, why this change of heart by Garde?
It almost looks as if the plan is to go down and come back the next season.
If we can get a striker in the window could he save us?
57% of the ball but we concede 3.
Jesus I could go on all night but that will not change anything.

02 Jan 2016 17:09:30
Well TBH I don't think it matters who we bring in, short of the worlds greatest miracle ever seen we are championship bound I cannot for the life of me see us pulling this one out the bag? we had em all today gill kozac traore grealish, fabulous equaliser though. Oh well all we can do is start to build and hopefully come straight back up!

02 Jan 2016 17:08:51
Just checked the remaining fixtures and being bias and claret and blue blooded seriously see only 5 possible more points till the end of the season! That is a home draw against Norwich and Bournemouth and home win against NUFC! Anyone on the Christmas period doubt this? Or am I being too optomistic expecting 13 points at the end of the season? By the way today I predicted 2:1 to the awful black cats. Love villa with a passion since my first season down there in 1975 on the witton bank but can see no way out of this now. Must get club sold and clear out all the dead wood including the board! VTID.

02 Jan 2016 20:48:44
Can't believe next year. Villa v Burton Albion.

02 Jan 2016 17:03:48
Words simply fail me with this Villa side, and Grealish is slow, predictable and lazy.

02 Jan 2016 16:52:56
I've had enough now. I'm with Collymore, but the entire squad up for sale. Not one do them is good enough. Why are Hutton and Bacuna smiling and grinning on the pitch, they're about to ruin our club, there should be no smiles anywhere. Richards isn't good enough, he's not a premier league CB, so either push him right or drop him. Watching the crap we put on the pitch is tearing me apart. Everyone can talk about we the fans should be supporting them, but they don't deserve it, they're not trying, they're picking up pay checks and that's it. 1 win all season. Micah Richards and Brad Guzan are simply shocking. The only player that seems to want it at all is Adama. It's embarrassing and depressing. In 30 years I've never seen a Villa team that cares so little. Well, that's the end of my rant I suppose, just can handle it anymore, can't see us surging the championship to be honest. And despite what people have said about Lerner and how he has and hasn't funded the club, he crippled us with 2 stupid decisions. Hiring Houlliet and McLeish, unacceptable, stupid.

02 Jan 2016 16:51:37
You know what it's probably best for us to get relegated because this lot is just a laughing stock of the league. The best bit is while we are feeling s. t about the results they still pick up there 50k aweek. F. in joke.

02 Jan 2016 16:47:33
Well that's it then championship here we come, can't even beat a poor side like sunderland, looks like this manager was a bad choice not one win under his leadership. poor decision all round.

02 Jan 2016 16:53:25
Name on decent managerial appointment Lerner has made?
Putting a bet on tonight that we won't win another league game this season. Probably odds-on!
What an absolute shambles our club is.
Worse than when we were relegated to old 3rd division.

02 Jan 2016 15:41:33
Behind again! How the hell do we expect to get anything from games we need to win when we keep having to come from a goal down? It's almost as if we start the game losing. Just shocking. Not a clue from the owner, the manager or the players.

02 Jan 2016 17:03:11
Who the f. k can disagree with this comment. is that u lerner?!

02 Jan 2016 14:48:11
My opinion only but it's time for players to step up now too many have underperformed over past few weeks and now is the time especially grellish he's done nothing to prove him self apart from 1 goal at Wembley step up and prove your as good as the hype.

02 Jan 2016 15:07:42
I agree, apart from. What goal at Wembley are you referring to??

02 Jan 2016 21:30:19
Think the only time grealish scored at Wembley was in the hotel.

02 Jan 2016 13:17:07
Just reflecting on the last few months and how this compares to 1987! I can recall back then the holte cheering when we got a throwing! With the pre back pass rule era perhaps it allowed that clueless side the option to do so little in creating anything! This season we have shown some flashes of creativity in build up with very little decisive action in front of goal and woeful regular defensive and midfield errors along with zero confidence low work rate and lack of battling spirit. In all I think The current team is better than. 1987 however hope they have the same luck if/ when go down. On our last 2nd tier season we were fortunate to get straight back and never looked convincing but scraped through that glorious day in Swindon.

Keeping positive till the maths say no and who knows the odd glimmer compared to class of 87 may make for a battle come March April 2016 with a good window in Jan! UTV.

02 Jan 2016 11:13:38
Question for the more mature Villa fans, is this your worst ever side?

02 Jan 2016 11:24:22
Nah, that boring Arsenal side under George graham is mine

02 Jan 2016 12:57:14
And the point of your question is?
Are you really interested in the answer or are you just enjoying rubbing salt in others wounds?
These are rhetorical questions by the way; I already know the answers.

02 Jan 2016 14:46:40
Give him a few mins, he will need to google rhetorical!

02 Jan 2016 17:09:34
It was a serious question touchy chappies, it is possible to have banter without having a go you know :-)
But nice to know your a gooner flackie as you consider your worst team an Arsenal team mate, I'll wait while you google if you like :-)
