If bent goes to fulham we will be hangerland plus 7 millon aling with the 10 randy is handing over if lambert can get it right with that sort of money we sould be more the fine and with hangerland and vlaar we will be very solid, looking forward to second half of the season already

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Is this just a hope that that will happen or is it true?

Agree0 Disagree0

I am fed up of reading "If we sell Bent" and "When we sell Bent"
face it bent is going nowhere, 80K a week, 12Mil transfer fee.....reality check for much less you could have Demba Ba, there is no comparison...

Agree2 Disagree1

I would love hangerland to give ue height, defensive discipline and experience.

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard the same i think the deal will go trough, if bent takes a wage cut that leaves me a bit worried but i think he will to get first team football, also on the in is huddlestone, mcgeady on his day is brillant,

Agree1 Disagree0

We will probably have to pay the difference in wages if Fulham dont pay it all, the sale of Ashley Young that money was put to one side to cover the costs left for the darren Bent deal

I know most people will disagree with this but I would really love to see Rhys Williams of Middlesbrough come in.

24 years old.
Plays cb, rb and cdm. We need a solid cdm which he is.
He's an Aussie so here's hoping if we went for him Holman would put in a word.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

He's a good player and fits what lamberts trying to achieve but again he lacks experience and is similar to westwood, whilst i'd like him to join our squad he's not what we need at the moment, we need a player like huddlestone now and maybe make a move for williams in the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Im original poster and i see sense in a summer move for since i found out he not long bk for injury. However he is not like westwood he is more solid and can play in the back four.

Pierre emerick aubemayang pacey as hell him and the battering ram together will tear the prem apart give weimann his dues tho

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Can I just mention we are being linked with people with a buying from of 5-10 million, and most sources say we only have 10million to spend so what's actually happening are we getting more than that, ed do you know? Or anyone else {Ed001's Note - no club is going to reveal their actual budget, I very much doubt anyone knows what it really is. I wouldn't take any notice of anyone saying the budget is X amount, it will be just an opinion. If the right player became available at the right price, I am sure money would be made available. Clubs never have a real set budget, like people get in football management games, it just doesn't work like that. Hence why a club can sometimes over stretch their finances to get in players they feel will move them up a level.}

Agree2 Disagree0

Cheers, so to be honest I think we should get Pierre emerick augbameyang, I think we could get Huddlestone on a permanent deal now that Parkers back for spurs and fingers crossed lescott then we can put Clark left back. they are just what we need and hopefully at about 20million which may sound a lot but it would be good if we could sell some players like bent, N'zogbia etc that will give us at least an extra 10-15mill

Ins: gouffran 10m (desperate for a creative player like him)
Sissoko 3m (adds bite to the midfield)
Austin 4m ('young and hungry')
Lescott 8m villa boy come home son and sort out our defence)
Total 22-26m
Outs:
Warnock/Hutton 1m
Bent 10m
Ireland 3m
Bannan (I think he's useless)
Herd (loan)
Carruthers (loan)
Total 12-15m

Come on randy back your team!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bannan could be quality, we don't use him correctly, plus where do your player valuations come from? Dream on.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd love it if all this came true but i can't see it happening in all honesty, i think sissoko may be worth a lot more than 3m and burnley will want a lot more for austin even though he's not worth it in my view. All the outs i feel are realistic and why not add n'zogbia to that list!

I'd like to see abou diaby come to villa park as wingers already said he's not part of his plans. The only problem is that he is injury prone. Plus he's on 50k a week but when you look at players like given, dunne, n'zogbia and Ireland who simply aren't performing and are on around 60k a week so maybe it could be a good signing for 4 million?

I feel we need a whole new spine to the team, I would love to see Huddlestone, Lescott & Hooper, I reckon Huddlestone & Lescott could be persauded on loan till the end of the season coupled with Hooper who would cost around £6 mill, with the remainding £4 mill the Villa could do worse than take a punt on Martin Olsson.

Lescott would add that little bit of experience to bring on the likes of Clark and Baker and just imagine the rock solid partnership he could form with Vlaar. Olsson is a player with great potential too and I'm sorry but our LB options are just not good enough, Stevens is Championship level at best and Lichaj will be good given time. I reckon if we get him back from Bolton we could send Warnock to Olsson as part of a player+cash deal.

Huddlestone is the kind of player that we need, a power house in the middle of the park, a non-stop runner who can fill in at centre back too. He's got a shot on him too and could contribute much needed goals. He's the perfect holding man who will allow Bannan & Ireland to do their stuff.

Hooper would be a great acquisition, whilst he's not proven in the premiership I think villa are in the position where we need to take risks as where we are were not going to get a proven premierleague goalscorer. I think he'd be a decent partner for Benteke as well. Worth a punt i reckon.

Clearing the dead wood is another must, ship out Warnock (for Olsson), Hutton, Albrighton & Bent (better off getting someone who wants to play for us like Hooper or Aubemayang)

Still feel that Villa's worse mistake was letting Cuellar leave on a free, in my view was our best CB.

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Agree with hooper and huddelstone but dnt think we could get lescott and i wouldnt sell albrighton, give him game time and hell be good. hes got a high work rate to and as soon as he came on against wigan, we looked a much better side. would love olsson but dnt see lambert going in for a left back - think hell probably stick with bennett

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do we keep getting linked with hooper!? Celtic are in the last 16 of the champions league what would make him come here?

Agree0 Disagree0

It's just so frustrating that lambert doesn't think of this lescott Huddlestone and hooper would be great but is lambert on the same wavelength as us

Agree1 Disagree1

Cuellar was rubbish, great guy and all that but still a rubbish defender

Agree1 Disagree1

I disagree, I feel Hooper would come to us as we can offer him more money as well as a higher class of opposition. Odds are Celtic will be knocked out in the next round to Juve and then he'll be back to playing the likes of Kilmarnock & St Mirren, a realistic target I think, perhaps to sweeten the deal send delph on loan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said cuellar was rubbish, the qe2 would even turn quicker than him, the dublin villian

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree but was he worse than Herd ?
(That's a rhetorical question by the way)
