I'm a old football fan from 1980 era and we saw good times at Villa and we won cups and trophies and we also won The European Cup So we got to be proud of what we achieved in the years gone by and now we will all have to see what happens but I say our club is doomed as long as Randy stays there and keeps the club.

I can't help but wonder where is any of the board through all this, not one has come out with a statement as to why we never signed anyone apart from the obvious no one wanted to sign for a nearly relegated club why wasn't RG given the funds as promised to sign at least a striker instead of refusing to pay the money out on transfers or loan deals? well I guess they are hiding waiting for it all to calm down hoping it will all go away then try and fob us off with will bounce straight back WELL how about not going down in the first place you bunch of morons? . 500 mile round trip to vp, not anymore whilst the burocrats are in charge. They've killed club and don't care. Gutted for remi he should walk away now. Taking my emotional hat off and trying to analyse the pings on at OUR football club.
Hollister has come to restructure the overall club.
Is this to make it a viable option for a buyer to encourage offers?
What can he sell off?
What expenditure can he cut?
Will he be looking to find another site for a training facility and selling?
Even worse could he be looking to sell Villa Park?
Brighton sold the Goldstone ground and built a new stadium on the outskirts of Brighton.
Whatever is planned by Hollis and Scrooge you can be sure that it will not impress us the supporters.
The only way costs can be cut is to move out of the ground, unless a major investment comes in to rename Villa Park.
Our future is definately fragile but something is happening that none of us will want to see.
What do others see regarding the situation?
I have no comments to make about the transfer failures as it has all been said by everyone on the site, if only the board would read some of the posts on this and every other public site they may see the emotion of thousands of supporters.

I remember, my dad is a big Brighton fan and was one of the supporters club members who helped get rid finally of Bellotti.
Although the Amex is a miles better ground than the Goldstone was it took a very long time of grounds sharing and zero success to get there.
They'll probably sell off Villa Park and make us play at Bodymore, holds about 15k doesn't it?

Bit of a strange 1. Went on the Villa app 1st thing and every day has a media watch section, newspaper articles etc. Clicked on it and said there were no articles? Went back to the home screen then the Tuesday Media Watch link disappeared altogether. They got something they don't want us to read about you think.?

Why on earth the board think we can just rebound back up? Do they think they can keep players like Gil and ayew? Half of the players will want out, Guzan will stay but Richards lescott and okore will be gone, amavi is too promising for the championship. TBH Djb there is no point in staying away as it needs all supporters to stand by each other and everyone to boycott televised matches at least but you will always have the few supporters screaming you are not a true fan if you stay away and what good will it do? well how about it shows the board we have had enough and also the place to hit them is in the pockets but its never going to happen and they know this that is why they do what the hell they like and don't give a toss about the fans as long as they are turning up and handing there hard earned cash over they are happy for villa to just plod along with no ambition!

I have been a villa fan since nappies named after nigel sims i could weep at the plight of our great club which has been bought to its knees by a mind dead yank and his idiot associates. we have gone from being a decent team under martin oneil to the laughing stock of the midlands no one wants to play for us we have too many many grabbers like nzogbia i feel for Garde even though we should have kept Tim i worry for our illustrious clubs future as i can only see Lerner and his henchmen taking us further into the abyss.

If Randy and his board, have any respect for the people who, have driven this club with their support for years . They should come out with some kind of statement, explaing to the fans what is happening . what their ideas are, why they haven't spent any money . Why the club has been allowed, to get into the state it is . What they intend to do about it, & what we can expect . This statement should be made in plane English, not in corporate speak . The fans, the press, Uncle Tom cobberly and all, have attacked Randy for not speaking up . Now is your time Randy, you have previously stated your love for the club and its history, Now is your chance to let the others who prove they love the club, year after year . Know what your plans are Villa for ever.
