I still have a feeling that Sven is lurking in the background. He is available, cheap, and willing. If he comes expect Beckham to follow. DB is a very close friend of SGE and he wants to get back into the Prem. In fact he could buy AVFC from lerner. Now theres a thought?

Passed it tbh, the champs league final was a long time ago. couldn't manage inter and has been out of the game for a while. much prefer rdm or poyet.

Benitez tends to play negative football. After Mcleish we need someone who thinks about winning games rather than not losing them. Look where that approach got us last season ! Think Poyet is probably the likely candidate
