The deals I'm hoping for in the remainder of the window.
Ayew And McCormack out to finance Brady and Rhodes in.
Bruce wants a left winger so Brady would be perfect as can also offer cover for left back if Amavi was to get injured or his form dropped.
Would be happy for gabby kozak left too finance a cheap 3rd striker maybe tom Lawrence.
If we lost grealish which I hope we don't then replace with Tom cairney

Would love Brady but meant to be having a medical at Burnley tomorrow, and behind them are Leicester and Crystal Palace so no chance.

See Ayews goal ,that's what you get playing him down the middle & not on the wing .Seen reports that Taylor is as bad as the Cisco kid at LB .Onwards&Upwards Villa forever

30 Jan 2017 09:33:33
Or if you're playing for a move where your wages wouldn't be half what they were last season.

I don't understand the thinking of Steve Bruce, swapping Ayew, for Neil Taylor. We are short of strikers and amavi has that lbk slot nailed down and we have bedeau coming who can play there. We need a strikers we shouldn't be selling them. Bad deal Bruce

29 Jan 2017 18:14:20
And if Amavi were injured?
There's an argument that he should be dropped (but who for)
Bruce know's we are short of a striker and a left-back
It is possible to deal with those 2 issues at the same time.
That's s probably what Bruce is thinking.

Tshbola going to forrest

29 Jan 2017 19:51:51
Good.

A hypothetical... it looks like Daniel Sturridge is off in the summer, if we go up, should we go for him? Kodjia & him up front in the Prem would be great, he's a Villa lad too, & going into dreamland territory, if he's getting pelters from Klopp, maybe a cheeky bid for on loan rest of season with a view to buy would be attractive all round? It's out there but no harm in trying. The argument against would be injuries but that season he had with Suarez in a 2 when fit would trump that.

I'm sure he wasn't born in Birmingham aswell, would be a good signing if we played him down the middle, they'd want some dosh tho to be fair.

29 Jan 2017 15:44:46
Sturridge is a brummie played for Cadbury as a kid

29 Jan 2017 15:47:08
He was on Villa books as a kid wasn't he

29 Jan 2017 16:01:14
If we go up, thinking Dr Tony would throw £100M+ on the squad, we seem to have bought this window players that would cut it in the Prem too, that £100M could go on real quality, a GK, No9, and CB, as for Sturridge, I wouldn't see him being targeted by any of the clubs that are arguably bigger than L'pool, that just leaves the mid table teams that we would class ourselves being till we gain a bit of success, remember how ambitious our chairman is, anything's possible

Sturridge?
Not for me to injury prone.
As for fans saying he is a villa fan?
Lescott was one of them as well,
Leave well alone,

29 Jan 2017 16:27:48
I wouldn't be keen on Sturridge . he is to similar to Ayew. Very skilful but also greedy as hell.

29 Jan 2017 18:30:21
Gabby and Collymore and Lescott all Villa to the bone all ended up lazy.

30 Jan 2017 09:14:25
Don't know why it said wasn't, I meant was. And yea he was at villa youth level.
