Lambert so lucky we had that start to season and shrewd to nail down contract b4 we play the top6, inexperienced and unprofessional owner fell for it, not sure if Tom Fox was there then, but doesn't bode well if he was. Lambert would surely have gone by now if no bumper contract. relegation will hit us harder then paying him off now, so do it! if we sticking to plodding for mid table then grab Pulis while he there or put Villa back near top and get a top drawer manager, but pls, enough is enough get Lambert out!

must admit I've said this few times over last year but pulis is the kind of manager we need. one that will bring fight to the team.
yes we might start playing unpretty football but it will still be better than what we do now

I think that the best manager for Aston Villa right now is Claudio Ranieri, who is without a job.
He has almost 30 years of experience in team management.
And he has been managing European top clubs like Juventus, Inter, Roma, Atltico Madrid, Valencia, Monaco and Chelsea.
I think that he has done well for most teams here, so he is definitely my choice.

Lambert not gone yet.
I agree they were great players for the club.
No pedigree there as far as management is concerned.
We can not afford to gamble on the next guy, we need to push the boat out and go for a seasoned and proven manager.

Earlier this season some posters were stating that we should have got Rogers when he was available. Look at him now, spent £200m and joint favourite for the sack. Lerner has never given PL a quarter of that money. Lesson to be learnt here, be careful what we wish for! I still maintain that throughout the club from Lerner down to the players there is a complacency that spreads. Players must own the problem on the pitch, and Lerner must give a different direction as to what he requires from PL. AND YES I ACCEPT THAT PL MUST DO BETTER, but the funding has to be there for him to if he has any chance of survival which seems doubtful.

Really can't get any worse. not that I thought keane bought much to Vp. But with no assistant. PL in cloud cuckoo. A chairmen that don't give two s***s. All we need now is to get turned over by burnley. That'll just be the final nail in the coffin for me. Any fancy cheering me up with some positives.

Keane gone, why? Did he have a contratant with a senior player? Reporter at B/Heath suggested this to be true. Anyone's aunty, grandma, work there. There is a lot more going on than we know and we will not find out quickly so there is a great opportunity for the rumour muggers to have a good time. Perhaps it was Keane that was coaching rather than PL? Who wil replace Keane, is it time for a young go getter to come in and transform the team? Many posters state that the players are ok and it must be the coach. We just might see in the next couple of weeks.
