Dear Mr. Jordan Amavi,
so nice of you to have graced our humble club with your silky skills, defending prowess and wingback talent. i can't put into words how much you've done for this club and lifting us supporters' spirits with your non-stop, all action hero footballing masterclass week in week out that you've shown on the pitch. so as you slither off to pastures new this summer, make sure your new club appreciates you for what you are, and
don't let the door hit you on the back of you head as you do us all a favour and do one.

Other than the fact he can't defend for toffee, I don't understand why you hate him so much. Remember he was playing left mid when we went what 8 wins in 9, played well as well. Not a left back and never should be played there but a definite asset at left mid.

If Jordan Amavi does leave Aston Villa i would like to thank him he could have left the club but showed commitment. His not amazing but not terrible I just don't understand the hate for a guy who does nothing but try for us.

I don't hate him at all, i just questioned his commitment, and as for thanking him? for doing his job on the dough he's on? -for what, would that be for keeping the medical staff busy, i know the injury wasn't his fault, but i always remembered that if a player got a spanker of an injury, they'd come back and make an extra effort for the fans and club;as soon as he came back that although he was trying, for me he was done as a left back-maybe mentally scared, who knows, fair play he stated his thanks to the fans and club, but come january transfer window with liverscouse and marseilles making offers.

it took the doctor to quote silly numbers to put an end to them sniffing around, where was the statement of loyalty then from him or his agent? -if they did then i'm wrong and i apologize;but i don't think he's an asset on the left of midfield if he tackles like a toddler, bottom line is he's off i reckon, if we can extort 25 million plus, that's the icing on the cake.

You want every player to come out and make a statement of loyalty every time their linked by the papers to another club? Kodjia will spend more time this summer writing statements than training. As a left mid your struggling to find someone of his quality in this league, you seem to have made a judgement on him from his awful performances against Reading and Fulham, forget the 10 before that and the 8 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss in them 10. Sometimes I wonder if you mistake your video games for real life.

I'm always surprised that we expect players to love the club the way that we do
To the vast majority of players this is a profession and the club is an employer
If a better job opportunity turns up they are probably going to consider it.
If they have a long contract we can refuse to deny them that opportunity. If they react the way Yorke did all those years ago then yes, they are worthy of our scorn
I don't think we are anywhere near that point with Amavi.

29 Apr 2017 11:23:12
Errr, I meant to say "we can choose to refuse them that opportunity"

never understand why people get so annoy by lack of loyalty, these players are bought in to do a job, if someone offers you more money to go do your job at a better company you going to say yes.
