I don't think we are going to hear any strong rumours about a new owner until after the World Cup has finished. Looks like Lambert will be staying on as manager some people might not think this is a good thing but he could turn out to be a good manager given some money. We need Lerner out as soon as possible he just isn't committed to the club anymore and hopefully the new owner has load of cash to splash.

Fair enough lambert made two decent signings in benteke and okore, but look at the rest of the absoloute crap he has brought in! Are you putting yourself foward for pl assistant or something?!

But you also have to look at how many players have been needed to plug gaps and the finances he had available I believe it dictated he could sign one player he really wanted and for the rest he's had to go for a cheaper option

Who else is starting to think the club we all love is a joke!
Who announces potential takeover which instantly puts the club into disarray only two have no buyer lined up.
Now it's the transfer window and villa can't sign anyone cause Lerner won't give give us anything and lambert is begging to be able to sign free agents it's all b*******
Lerner should of had this sorted within his wealthy circles and got a deal and give villa the same £15-£20 million he has the last 2 seasons so that it doesn't effect villa rebuilding a decent team which I believe where not far from we just need another centre half ie lescot and Bertrand a midfield player like Milner maybe this holtby or Townsend and another decent striker if that's Hernandez great and then we can stop having squeaky asses looking at the bottom half of the table.
Lerner should be happy for all the s*** lambert gets he's managed to sustain the prem status of a club in decline for 2 years and each summer window has managed to pull off a cracking deal in benteke and okore
