I have thought about this for a long time now but would like to know your feelings on the team below.
There is not much you can do with the current squad and our form, but I have always tried to make bold moves, and I would do so in our current situation.

Guzan
Lowton, Baker, Clarke, Bennett

Westwood, Delph Gardener

Albrighton Gabby Helenius


Subs :??

I would play this line up until Benteke is fit and then swap Albrighton and move Gabby out wide.

When Vlaar and Okore are fit they would replace
Baker and Clarke.

Plan B on request

Probably not every ones cup of tea but you all know my feelings about Helenius and he must be given a chance.

I don't think Bennett os good enough at right back.
People keep saying how good Gardner is but with his limited exposure to the first team I don't see where this confidence comes from
I know even less about Helenius. But, if Bowery is getting in the team ahead of him, how good can he actually be?
When all said and done, we just don't have good enough players for this league regardless of the formation you play them in

I think you have miss understood I have put Bennet at left back not RB.

Gardner is more of a probing midfield player who can score goals and make telling passes.

I agree most off our players are not prem quality but we have got to try something mate.

Can u please stop speaking about helenius in the first team. Kozak was not the player we needed but he's a decent striker that has an eye for goal and is much much better than helenius. The only people that know a bit about helenius is lambert and the coaches, and they don't even think he's as good as Bowery. he's obviously not good enough. The only top player we actually have at the moment is benteke who, although isn't scoring many, is quality and it is because he's injured and Bennett! Can u remember how bad he was! Definiatly not but I would like to see Gardner. Just my opinion.

Glad to see you also don't rate Luna Dave. I watched a lot of mallorca last season and he looked out of his depth there. Needless to say they also got relegated.

Sorry mate, but Helenius would dance round Kozak if he was wearing clogs, he is by far a better all round player.

And you say the only people who know are Lambert and the coaches,
If that's the case how come they keep dismissing the fact we are in dire need of a quality attacking midfielder.

And Bennett is not the best I know, but he is as good as Luna and has been in a dog fight before, and believe me that's what we are in now.

1st team should be (when everyone is fit):
Guzan

Vlaar Baker Clark
Bacuna Westwood Delph Luna
Weimann. Agbonlahor
Benteke

Subs:
Steer, Lowton, Gardner, El Ahmadi, Tonev, Kozak, Sylla

Think we play better with wing back because they like to get forward and attack. The centre midfield pairing of Delph and Westwood is solid because they can play together easily. Weimann works hard and gabby has the pace. Baker puts his body in where it hurts and Vlaar is solid. Even though Benteke is in a barren spell and can't score he will find the net and won't be able to stop scoring. But, he does need more help and by playing wing backs it means more crosses can come into the box.

Clark should never be near the pitch, he is dire, always pointing and waving. TAXI for Clark!
Baker needs a lot more experience.
PL needs to buy at least 2 more central defenders in the window and get Benteke's head sorted out and if he doesn't start scoring stick him in with the kids or leave him on the bench. If he is not playing then he will not be going to the World cup.

Sorry Cjr seen this team play they are poor, both full backs get destroyed midfield no creativity

What team would you play?

Baker is a joke and just because he puts his body in the way doesn't make him a good center half. My son plays center half for a Sunday league team and isn't afraid to put his body in the way of the ball!

Is there any interest in a loan move for jermaine defoe? I think he could be a quality signing as he will be keen to impress with the upcoming World Cup and the shocking state of our attack.

Current all I see with a little quality is Lowton ( brought back in the team because he's one of our most creative players and he's a frickin RB )
And delph

Luna is ok going froward but so was Bennett last season he's terrible defensively but maybe needs some more time which brings me onto the next point we need another 2 midfielders if lambert refuse to play Gary Gardner, I hope if we buy somone it's 8 million + and over the age of 24

Think Defoe would be a good signing he knows where the goal is.
