I see Gabby as starting alongside Gestede up front against Sunderland. Ideally Tim would love that partnership to pay dividends. If it doesn't this weekend, Sherwood needs to look at other alternatives. Why buy Ayew if he's not up to it and Sinclaire knows where the back of the net is.
Sunderland game is a big game for Gabby. He really needs to prove he's still got it, we can't hold players like Adams back!

I agree with what you are saying mate but Gabby has been at the club for 10 years +, it is also the club he supports, so to prove he has still got it is a bit late for me, he hasn`t had it for 3 years.
In my opinion he is a very poor excuse for a premiership footballer, if you can`t produce the goods for the club you love you have no chance, I truly believe that it is pace and pace alone that has got him through his career, and to call him a legend is a joke.
A football legend is a player who hasn’t just played for the club, but is someone who gave there all towards Aston Villa Football Club and wore the Claret and Blue shirt with pride.
To be honest I do blame the management at VP over the past few years for continuing to pick him, so I am hoping that Tim will see sense and do the best thing for Aston Villa and drop him now, I just hope making him Captain does not get in the way !

I just roll my eyes and shake my head when I hear people talk about big games for Gabby or how he has another chance to prove himself
As Viiladave says, he hasn't done it for years now
This is one dead horse we should just stop flogging
(Unless we could flog him to Albion for 5 million, for a laugh. )
Gabby is never going to do it now. Let's accept it, get him out of the side and move forward
