Your probably right, I just think with only a couple of weeks till kick off pay the asking price and get him in, forget all the nonsense about his age and the fact there's no sell on value, surely getting promoted is more important than a players sell on value. There have been comments about how people can't understand why Xia is flying to India to build relationships and academies etc instead of concentrating on signing players and building a team.
Now why on earth would he be getting involved in the playing staff as the owner, he is building relations and investing in the business and brand. He has employed very capable people to manage and build the team and doing what does best.

Supposedly for ‘fielding an ineligible player' last season because Lescott signed his registration form ‘Michael Jackson’ when he transferred from The Baggies. I find it hard to believe that even he would be that stupid – though anything is possible. Mind you, this was on ‘socceronsunday. com’ so is probably as likely as the old ‘Double Decker Bus Found on The Moon’ story.
