Not much that one can say after todays debacle. Beaten by what I thought was the worst team in the prem, that is until now.
Realisation that the other team in Claret and Blue on the pitch, us, are by far worse.
I cannot blame PL, although he should be able to shuffle the pack, the players he has are not able to change the style of play when needed. He has bought what the miserly money he has been given will buy. The entire management staff need a kick up the rear end to wake them up and if they don't want to put the money up they should do the decent thing and bog off back over the pond.
We must have the most stupid, arrogant and unwilling owner in the entire football world.
Come on Red Bull, Sheik your Money, Richard Branson or whoever, you are needed at B6, NOW.

I blame PL for all his bad buys this is his team and its poor, inferior players, he will take us down. you might get 1gem, quality dose not come cheap but PL would rather spend £10million on 10 players myself £10m for 1, even that's cheap.

Kozac was one of the leading scorers in the Euro champ. league last year but if we don't supply the balls then we ain't getting the goals.
Given little money you only buy peanuts and that is what PL has had to buy.

I totally agree that Lambert is "anchored to the floor". That is what makes the Kozak signing more baffling as opposed to less
He needed to spend that 8 million on a quality midfield player
When money is tight it has to be spent wisely
We just cannot afford Lambert's stupidity in the transfer market

My blame goes mostly to Lambert, for buying the wrong players (Bowery, Bennett, Tonev, El Ahmadi and Bacuna) and he should have sold Benteke last time when he had the chance. The income could easily have been a little over £30 million. With that money he could have invested in players like Finnbogason, Popov, McGeady and Jansson. I also blame many of the players for not giving it all. And I support Lerner for not giving too much money to be spent at once, because he is giving enough to invest in decent players. If the money was spent at once, Lerner could go bankrupt and there is no guarantee that the club can win every league it is playing in. Remember what Lerner did under the management of O'Neill, £200 million was spent in 4 years. The club can't be run like that anymore, so Lerner is not the problem here.

i have so many words to explain how I feel about our team at the minute but none of these words should be used before 9 and I have kids present. I for one kept standing by lambert saying I think he's the wrong man for job but he can keep us up. but after the piss poor showing we have put out for last few months I think its safe to say i'm in agreement with most on here. either we need new manager or money released to sign the players that are needed or RANDY CAN **** OFF BACK TO NFL, JUST CAUSE YOUR WIFE BUTT****ED YOU IN THE DIVORCE don't MEAN WE got to SUFFER (sorry to rant)

Time for pl to go after that today and mr lerner to if he is not willing to commit. We on a one way path to championship as we speak. Everton swansea Southampton newcastle are all teams we could and should be beating to signings by having more muscle in the market and 3 of the 4 play a brand of football we would love at the villa. pl is a one trick pony and no idea what to do when it don't work. He also fails to play the required players at the right time. However randy lerner is as much to blame for thinking he can eat steak for dog food prices. You must be willing to invest season after season if you are to do any good in this league and if randy does not have the love for the club to do that no more he needs to move on. He has the money so its down to passion and love for our club. Any thoughts please

I think we are down with or without a new manager to be honest. Some of those players don't deserve to wear the shirt. The squad is wafer thin and Lerner must make funds available.
