I think a manager will be in by end of week. maybe the new owner but I'm hearing still a couple of weeks away. who out of interest do you think is taking over. I'm with ellison.

something doesn't tally - either a new manager or a takeover, i can't see us getting a new manager prior to a takeover as the new owners will want their own people in place. so why is hollis is in advanced talks with pearson? no takeover for me.

Ellison is what everyone over here is saying, but everyone in the know is remaining tight lipped but the word on the street is that Ellison is most definitely interested and he is already in serious talks with an announcement imminent.

Hi this is my first post on here, I've watched this site for a long time and seen many disagreements about how the club has gone and where it's going. think we all agree that we all want the best for villa. ie sold to a multi billionaire or sold to a group of millionaire villa fans? One of the richest guys in the world is top of my list. sell 90% of the players that are still there and replace them with people that want to wear the villa badge with pride. complete clear out and overhaul of the club is well needed and long overdue. As for the next manger I would like someone that's got links to the club. Southgate? Saunders? (just pulling names from a hat here) but I hope they get the sale done, manager in, players sold and brought well before the start of next season so we can concentrate on the league!
