this is bloody stupid now, how many players that we are looking at signing have we missed because RL won't give us any transfer? i'm sorry but VTID at this rate won't take long as we are going to do a leeds and end up in league 1 or worse if this carrys on

Well, now the dust has settled on the embarrassing defeat on Tuesday at the hands of the a team that collectively cost less that every Villa players weekly wage we should look at the lessons.
1) In Gary Jones, Bradford had a player that was consistently capable of delivering a corner/free kick on the money, whilst Bannan and co were wide of the mark time and time again. Conclusion, we need to sign/play a player who can deliver a quality ball from set pieces.
2) Bradford put 90 minutes of effort in, it is questionable that Villa did this as our second half performance was, yet again, no where near that produced in the first half.
3) Bradford scord three of their four goals from corners. Conclusion, we need to sign a quality defender who is capable and willing to head the ball.
4) One of this morning's National newspapers carries a story that Bradford offered a deal to divide the profits from the Wembley final. We apparently declined, so confident were we of progressing. Conclusion, "Don't count your chickens etc" If this is yet another poor decision by Faulkner it should be he, and not, PL who is shown the door !
We now have to draw a line under this competition and moving forward we should field a team largely made up of the reserves/U21 players on Friday as the FA cup can only be a temporary distraction. We need to concentrate on the league and the remaining games that, if we play like we have shown this season we are capable of, we can get results from

Qpr 1 international in 2 in talks and linked with loads.
Southampton made 10 mil and 12 mil bids for 2 players yesterday.
Villa no signings, no bids, no links, no ambition, no future.

think it's plainly obvious there will be no signings this month as the regime at Villa Park know relegation will happen it's as plain as the nose on your face.
Newcastle are on the verge of signing Sissoko so he may play against us in next league game. Don't worry though, we can put Bannan on him while Delph takes care of Tiote.
