It would be enough money to invest in new players, because Benteke, Given, Stevens and Delfouneso will likely be sold. Lambert will probably get £28-30 million combined. The new players should be Finnbogason, Popov, Traore and Jansson.
Although we can pray that Lambert will buy the players we believe we need, there is no reason for us to think that he will. I would love to have a player like Belhanda or Kiyotake in our ranks but we do not have the pulling power, unless Lambert is a genius. We will have to succumb to the idea that we will probably have this money, and bring in someone we do not need, like we did Kozak. Maybe we will buy someone of pure quality who can change a game and do something special like Ryad Boudebouz. But alas, I fear that although we can argue that we know what our club needs, maybe Will Hughes, Lambert has his own advisors and own knowledge and we have to trust in his judgement. That is, if he isn't sacked if we lose to palace

£8m from Lerner. Another piss poor amount from a mean owner. Just who would come to VP with such a tight budget. PL has no chance of securing a "name" to help us forward. We may offload lots of the luggage as mentioned but who is going to buy them, or even be given them?
Lermers ambition has to be questioned!
PL is running to orders and will only be able to buy untried players that we will be critical of after a few games.

If Lerner does not believe that you need to invest to improve then he should look in the mirror and see just what Scrooge looks like.

8 millions decent money for January window! I bet not many other teams will spend that much. We only got 2 million last year so its some sort of improvement
