Hope that he is true to his word and RdM can get them both to buy into his vision.
If this happens and we get a wildcard like Morrison, a goal scorer like McCormack, a couple of Chelsea loanees, Gardener and Baker coming back and the likes of Toner Hepburn-Murphy and Green we have the beginnings of an exciting season.
Get rid of the dead wood, by the way Stan is worth 10 Bacunas, and let the RdM era begin.

Morrison has just started following Villa on twitter. whether that means he's signing or not remains to be seen but would seem a strange thing to do if he wasn't.
Bit of a gamble really, but hopefully a bit of research has been done and he's grown up a bit and is ready prove himself.

I'm no expert. Don't claim to be. Just looking though. Reasonably strong squad. Three cracking signings so far. Good manager and an owner who obviously wants his team in the Premuer league so will throw some shillings for players.
Takes a while to gut a derelict house before you make it pretty again. Nzogbia gone, Guzan to Middlesbrough. God help them (thick northerners) gabby to Burger King, lescott to the USS Enterprise. Things looking up :-)

Never in my time on here, have I seen anybody get so many disagree signs up . Day after day never one sign of optimism, not any sign of looking forward . Please Mr. Know it all, just tone it down and try to look for some good, on the management team and the young kids that have at last been given a chance . We had enough misery last season, stop killing everybody's optimism, before we have even started . Villa forever.

He will probably go somewhere else Aston Villa are prepared to wait till all the good players are gone as usual! Morning all, We are not gong to be able to keep our best players this year and certainly need to ship a few out. The players we get in need to be steady and rugged performers. On my shopping list would be the likes of Collins, McCormack, Flamini, Rosicky, Januzai, Huddlestone, Charlie Adams and maybe even crouch or walters.
We need some steel, experience and determination mixed in with the more creative players. There are few weeks yet, the rumour mills is rife with nonsense. we must trust RDM to build a team not just a collection of players.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if we want to sign kodjia, and prem clubs are sniffing around too, how do we make our club the more attractive option, we won't out muscle others on the price, we won't be able to pay the highest wages, the only way is to sell them the 'project', say that instead of warming the bench. you start with 40,000+ villa supporters screaming your name, you mad sage their ego, yep, your the main man and help relocate their family, no expense spared.
you get your manager and the 'owner' to make them feel they're pure hollywood. what you DON'T do is go to India to 'explore' and 'excite' yourself. seems our de facto leader doesn't know as much about football and how to get things done, he talks of hoping to meet fellow villa fans over there, really?
how about getting yourself back over here and give some support and encouragement to those trying to buy players, a bit harsh, maybe, but crikey, seems he hasn't got a scooby in the art of attracting players to the club.
