He has done very well for us before and I think he's a Steve Bruce player his still young aswel with hardly a injury record. Ohhhhh Christian Benteke. I would also try to get wilfred Zara if Dr. Tonys serious about investing big money.

I've read Bruce would like to secure all loan signings permanently if we are promoted - This is worrying.

Johnstone and Snodgrass would be welcome additions to a Premier League side and Axel Tuanzebe has massive potential but I don't want us to waste money on Grabban - He's been very good for us but he is not PL standard.

If we go up that team needs major surgery / investment - For me we need 7 first team players.

Rashford would be a massive ask but he doesn't look happy at United under Jose and might fancy a loan move to a team where he would play every week - Wishful thinking perhaps.

Money talks if your in the prem. If a project was put to the likes of zaha that we will be spending loads and compete at the very top and the wages were good players will come. Hence same when city and Chelsea first started spending.

True King, but do you think we will have that level of spend if promoted? To encourage a Zaha, who is being eyed by Spurs and City, you would need to be spending 200M+ I think.

Can you see Villa spending that?

I belive if we go up the spend will be right up there with the big boys. Bruce wants to try and keep all loan players so what we looking at there

Johnstone £3 mil
Grabben £5 mil
Snoddy £7 mil
Josh £10 mil
Axel £15 mil

That's going to be around 40 mil if we get to keep em. I think there will easy be another 100 mil on top of that to add a good goal getter and a couple more. Then depending how we looking in Jan prob another 50. We will do everything we can to stay there. Probably some compo for Bruce in there as well lol.

Wow, fingers crossed - Assuming we get up - That we will have that to spend, the squad will need serious investment.

Can I be honest though, I think signing Grabban, as good as he has been for us, is a little small time - He is a very good Champ striker but I would rather see RHM given a chance as third or fourth striker than spend 5M on Grabban. Also, have no idea why we would want Josh on a permanent deal, I domnt rate him at all - Is it just me? Am I missing something?
