21 May 2016 23:23:03
moyes or pearson who would you prefer villa fans?

22 May 2016 00:14:21
Moyes!
Wouldn't want Pearson at all.

22 May 2016 00:21:25
Moyes. 100% Moyes. I'd rather shoot myself than have Pearson.

22 May 2016 00:56:39
Mr. know. bugger. all, what you been reading now . Villa forever.

22 May 2016 01:16:32
Moyes all day long, would also bring a good backroom staff.

22 May 2016 01:57:18
Moyes would be a decent choice i think he might even keep eric black but he has no history of promotion where nigel pearson has and his a bully so he won't stand for okore bacuna lescot richards oh yeah an gabby an grelishs noncess. strict and got a history of promotion moyes makes you hard to beat yes but does he attack enough to get you promoted? i think it will be out of them two! Either way if we don't go straight up with 50 mill plus few good players what we have there's somethink wrong.

22 May 2016 12:51:11
out of the two I'd go Pearson. I think he is better for the championship and has done it recently not how many years ago.

21 May 2016 23:10:57
Villadaz nice to see a positive post on here, after some of the negative stuff we have seen over the last few hours . I think the problem is, some on here read to much rubbish and take it all in . After this last season as fans, we haven't had much to be happy about .

with the arrival of Tony Xai, it has sent our hopes sky high . But some seem only to happy to shatter all this and drag us all down again . let's be happy in the moment, & don't go regurgitating every negative bit of rubbish you can find . Villa forever.

21 May 2016 15:41:24
How on earth can people moan if Xia wants to add a name to VP or change the name it brings extra revenue for transfers and wages give your heads a bloody wobble you snooze you lose simple as that you moan there's no money for transfers you moan when we have a chance of adding some money to the kitty dear o dear.

21 May 2016 17:02:03
Your right Villadaz, people need to realize it's 2016 and we need to move with the times if you want to compete, its not as if he wants to make a major change to it and if simply adding Lotus before the name brings in more revenue maybe we should welcome it.

21 May 2016 17:21:09
Exactly villadaz.

21 May 2016 17:37:07
Really don't care what the name of the stadium is, as long as we are playing well and have investment coming in regularly, we should be in the premiership and playing European football

VTID.

21 May 2016 18:39:00
They can call it whatever they bloody like. It's Villa Park as far as I am concerned.

21 May 2016 20:47:54
they will call it xia park after this guy has took us back to the top. big things coming our way trust me.

21 May 2016 21:19:42
The can call it chow Mein villa park if it brings in much needed money for transfers. Would draw the line though if he tried to rename it Saint Andrews. Even I have some standards. Unlike them lol.

21 May 2016 21:40:58
It is not that long ago, when Lerner took over, that supporters were up in arms at the thought that he would change the name of the hollowed ground.
Things do move on.
I only hope that if a name change does happen is that Villa Park remains in the title.

21 May 2016 23:51:43
Think of the last 4 years, we are still at VP where as so many clubs have abandoned their old Victorian grounds! Agree with moving with the times and let's all keep positive and show some trust and maturity about things. If it becomes the Lotus Stadium we will all still talk about heading to Villa Park with its new North Stand and Three Tier Doug Ellis Stand. staying positive things can pnly get better! UTV.

22 May 2016 12:52:45
I'll be the new sponsor and then we can call it kingvilla park. lol.

21 May 2016 13:24:02
I think everyone as got a bit of Carson Yeung fever, the sooner this saga is over the better. The language barrier doesn't help and with everyone looking to find dirt on this man and taking into account the population of China I would imagine that there are many named Tony Xia just as there is John Smith's in the UK and some with shady reputations and much of this rubbish may not even be related to him. Just a thought. you know how it gets when the knives are out.

21 May 2016 14:36:59
this guy is fine trust me and has big links to Chinese government. I've been digging for 4 hours. lol.

21 May 2016 15:13:46
Hope you are right kingvilla, i think we have all waited so long for this takeover and with all the disappointments of the past people are just waiting for things to go wrong. I think it will all turn out ok and things should settle down a bit when everyone's attention turns to the Euros. :-)

21 May 2016 21:41:13
Hi Kingvilla, what have you been looking at?
Can you share anything?
I have found this on Lotus Health Group (where Xia is listed as a director)

goo.gl/kztXbi

If Chinese Yen were equivalent to GBP I would think we were OK. Unfortunately it's not
Total equity at the end of 2015 (ie total assets-total liabilities) was about 9 million quid.

22 May 2016 07:36:09
I've looked at a lot mate and come across some very interesting stuff. doing your searching in Chinese and digging deep helps. this guy is about to buy a company in America for 3.5 billion as stated in an interview with him and also has just sold 60% of teamax the site I gave a link to yesterday for near 500 million and has bank receipt to show this. from what I've seen he has got to be worth min 9 billion with assets of much much more I'd say 40 billion. I still think he is very much government backed as well! . trust me for once I'm pulling no ones leg here this guy is the real deal and we are on the up.

22 May 2016 10:05:15
Could you post a few links though mate. The one you posted the other day went nowhere
I need this for my mental health.

22 May 2016 10:07:43
No offence Kingvilla but these figures you are throwing about; I trust you have converted anything you have seen from Chinese Yen to GBP?
It's a ratio of 1 to 10.

22 May 2016 12:00:12
no I'm not going in Chinese money mendax. please give me a bit of credit lol. I'll sort some out when I'm back in office mate as I saved it all. it's all in Chinese though and some of it won't convert so unless you can read Chinese you won't understand it. I can read to a basic level and got the idea of his dealings as I went through a lot of stuff.

22 May 2016 12:09:27
the one I posted the other day was teamax. he has sold 60 % for 430 million pound. there are links on there to two other businesses of his. it's some of his private businesses that have big money tied up in them. and as I've stated a few times now he as close ties to the government and has there backing and is also a close friend of Jack ma and and business links with him. I'll post some more links up mendax. what I can anyway.

22 May 2016 14:59:55
Cheers mate. I can translate on a Mac although it comes out a bit clunky.

21 May 2016 13:21:08
txgis.com take a look this is part of recon group. runs lots of big things in China. there is a lot going about on the net at mo but follow the links off here do a bit a digging and I've done a lot! and make your own minds up. with all the stuff this guy does I'd say it's safe to say it's very much government backed which is a good thing by the way and there will be plenty to spend.

the one company linked to this group was top of china forbes 2 years ago. he ain't no Carson yeoung. I have no worries it will all go through and be fine.

21 May 2016 14:39:27
I'll give it a look mate.

21 May 2016 15:19:09
for the first time in reading any of the posts you put here kingy i really hope your right about this

the question i want answering though is what exactly is samuelsons role in this?

if xia has the money like you say why does he need samuelson?

if samuelson was purely there in an advisory role for xia an will disapear once this is finalized then fine but if he suddenly appears on the board of directors my twitchy bumhole is going to go into overdrive.

21 May 2016 17:22:28
I agree kingvilla, (again, hate agreeing with you! )
But done loads of digging, and I think this guy is the real deal!

21 May 2016 12:59:39
This has been going through my mind for the past hour.
Mervyn King - KingVilla
KingVilla - Mervyn King.

21 May 2016 13:22:50

21 May 2016 11:12:27
Di matteo in lazio talks. Is he trying up his wages or is it just papertalk.

21 May 2016 10:41:39
Following all the rumours about the new owner and his company and the money or lack of money the FA are certain to have a full scale enquiry into the suitability of the sale.

21 May 2016 11:37:12
i wouldn't rely on the F. A look at what's happened with portsmouth, leeds, birmingham and reading

it looks to me that lerner is so desperate to sell that he's accepted the first offer that came along as soon as it was certain we were going down, all this cobblers about doing the best for the club is just hot air, in 6 months time when all the crap hits the fan lerner will be long gone with his 60-100m tucked away in his back pocket an we will be left here with a club with massive cash problems.

21 May 2016 13:20:08
The FA are going through their standard procedure, not launching "a full scale enquiry". That is overstating things
Clearly there seem to be concerns but I am not sure yet if it is teething problems of dealing with a very different business set up or something more suspicious
For example, I have a Dun and Bradstreet account at work and I have just tried to run a financial report on the Recon Group. It came up with a message that basically said they couldn't give me a report as they need to check their details . It invited me to launch an investigation but I didn't want to do that as I want to check my workplace won't get billed any more than normal (I'll check with accounts on Monday)
Anyway, this alarmed me a bit as I have never seen that message come up before. However, I then tried some other Chinese companies and came up with exactly the same message.
Point I am trying to make is that things may not be what they seem but that it cuts both ways.
We could really do with a response from Steve Hollis.

21 May 2016 14:12:59
I don't expect any answers from him the. He is as much in the dark as us I'd say.

21 May 2016 14:48:14
I've been spending my Saturday morning digging and from what I have found with a little help from my Chinese contacts this guy will be very much government backed and has big dealings in China in all areas. nothing to worry about as far as I'm concerned and he will spend plenty.

21 May 2016 10:10:09
So everyone is coming out with random "in the know" comments about the ground and players, xia still isn't in charge yet so ground extensions renaming a etc is all dream land stuff, surely his priority is to take over the club yes he will have ideas on what he would like to do but is he really going to tell the world about them? He obviously has told the current owners as that's why they chose him to take us forward. Hollis doesn't even know who xia prefers as manager yet so other than the £20-£50 mil he said he would invest the rest is paper selling ploys.

Players wise who we buy entirely depends on who is brought in and their vision for the team.

Personally I'm saying, McCormack, snodgrass, are obvious buys, goals almost guaranteed with McCormack and snodgrass' deliveries are impeccable, put gestede on the end of those and we have 40+goals in our front line aline.

21 May 2016 09:55:49
Let's get a bit of perspective.
If Dr Xia isn't a billionaire so what? Being 1 is ideal if you want to throw money at something with no return on your investment. We've just had 1 of them, and it didn't work out long term. At worst, if he's trying to tap in to the potential revenue stream of a Chinese fan base, sponsorship, re-naming Villa Park etc. then there's going to be plenty of money coming in for players, ground improvement and if we're honest, The North Stand is an eyesore? Maybe he's looking to get us where we should be, then sell on at a profit? He's a businessman, that's what they do? As long as we can get back in the Prem soon as possible, have a net spend of £30M+ every season on players that will improve the squad and make us competitive, does it matter if he's not a billionaire? There probably more questions than answers to his intent at the mo, let's see if he passes the fit and proper test then throw him under the bus if fails?

UTV.

21 May 2016 10:20:01
Thing is is what if he didn't have the cash, if Chris Samuelson is involved which appears to be the case he could easily have financied this deal with borrowed money which would then be paid back out of refinancing the club or using parachute payments, Google Chris Samuelson an see what nearly happened to reading

I for one am extremely concerned about this club I love.

21 May 2016 11:23:58
We all are mate, the thing that's bovvering me at the mo is King and Bernstein leaving like they did? I know there was something about a leaked email or something, but maybe pushing out a Villa fan who could through a few calls to his buddies to find out if Dr Xia is genuine, would of scuppered the deal for Lerner?

21 May 2016 08:54:09
Well a disappointing season but finally some great news! 50m transfer kitty looks on the brink of being announced and Di Matteo will get us playing attractive football.

Players not good enough and need out:
Hutton - lack of commitment
Richardson - out of contract
Guzan - awful!
Lescott - awful! No commitment!
Sinclair - not interested
Gabby - good excuse to get rid now!
Okore - 4 years ago Chelsea were rumoured to be interested in him as JT future replacement! Wow!

Players naturally will leave:
Gana - would love to keep him but he is too good
Veretout- Bournemouth tried to sign him in 2014-15 season and will probably get him
Ayew - too good and he could go West Ham for a bargain price also rumours to team up with his brother at Swansea
Amavi - one of the best signing Villa have made in the 4 seasons. He will go and rumours state Liverpool could be interested after alberto morenos embarrassing end to the season.

There is positives. Some great young lads coming through, Grealish may rediscover form in Championship, I have no doubt Gestede could hit 20 goals, and who knows maybe Traore can find fitness and prove doubters wrong.

I seen some comments about signings, and must say McCormack great shout! Cyrus Christie is class I seen him at Cov as a kid and very strong and consistent, Will Hughes great player too, but my fear is your probably talking 10m for Hughes and 8.5m for McCormack.

I would like to see Hector on loan at reading from Chelsea sign as centre half, I think if we have any ambition we go in for Patrick Bamford, if Wednesday don't get promoted we should try sign Keiren Westwood in goal.

I also believe we should try and get Gary Gardner back after a decent spell with Forest. Kieran Trippier from Spurs after hardly playing for them after joining from Burnley.

But the most likely signing is going to be, Nathan dyer from Leicester yes he won the league but played 4 games!

21 May 2016 10:10:44
Hutton, lack of commitment?
He is the only one who had commitment.

21 May 2016 07:43:48
Been told that the ground is being extended for more seats around another 20,000 my mate works for a company that do this kind of stuff and he's been told that they have got to quote some work there if this is true then surely we have got to be heading one way and that's to play at the top.

21 May 2016 13:33:29
Cuckoo land mate. We're closing the top of the Trinity for next season. Who in their right mind is then going to then spend a fortune to increase the capacity at the same time. I suspect the work your mate has been asked to quote for is the alterations to the Lower North Stand where they are removing 7 rows of seats to provide more disabled access viewing. If it was for a new stand it would take them the next 12-18 months to get an initial design, then planning permission and then a detailed design in place.

21 May 2016 03:32:21
I'm finding it difficult to stay positive amidst all this confusion, the trouble being is that someone finds something negative about the deal and everyone seems to keep adding bits until the whole picture is one big mess, it really is a case of "Chinese Whispers".

I think the best thing to do is to wait and see how the FA checks go and what transpires from that, It would be nice if a statement came from Villa Park prior to that happening to explaining in more detail and reassuring the already jaded fans of this man's authenticity. I seriously don't have a clue where we stand at the moment and researching this guy does nothing to help.

21 May 2016 01:49:45
Comments on reddit about our new chairman.

21 May 2016 02:56:51
Professor Xia Jian.

21 May 2016 02:59:05
I too would like to know the truth, this is getting confusing!

21 May 2016 13:25:39
nothing to worry about. plenty of money and you will all see.

21 May 2016 01:22:50
There is know where saying the guys exact wealth at all he has 1 business which is his locus and its made 75 million loss last year the other 5 business are not his and he has even issued a statement saying what hollis said was wrong avfc official had to correct it. i have dond huge research into this guy. If he is that great a owner why is his 1 an only company losing 75 mill a year? All the other company are NOT HIS! the other companys are worth billions all together but they are not his. There even saying he won't pass the test this guy is a crook! you all want lerner out so bad you would take anybody!

21 May 2016 02:57:49
The Recon Group website appears to show the group has several listed subsidiaries, however stock exchange filings show that Recon Group only has a significant stake in Lotus Health.

A Hangzhou-based spokesman for Recon reached by telephone on Friday, who identified himself only as Mr Jin, admitted the company “currently only has controlling share in Lotus Health”.

Meanwhile, he said: “The acquisition deals for the remaining four companies are still being finalised and should come out soon. ” He declined to name the companies.

20 May 2016 23:59:43
lotus, our new owners company last year made a 74 million loss and most things being said about him are very bad. he hasn't got a phd either. he doesn't own 5 companies his got 1. this guy is going to be subject to a big investigation as doubts how great this guy really is.

21 May 2016 00:39:28
There is a genuine worry here as all the tabloids are saying this, well seems like it's back to the drawing board then.

21 May 2016 13:27:02
no this deal is fine trust me and the guy has plenty of backing. trillions if you know what I mean!
