Worried very worried.
Why bring bent back when you release the only who can cross a ball at villa park
I heard that a local manager from a division or two below us couldn't believe how poor we were against Southampton. And said his lads could beat villa
All the reports about contracts being put on hold is rubbish as gary gardener has signed a two year deal
think we are stuck with lambert and learner
The new man u manager will try and take valarr to Old Trafford.
Love the villa. villa till I die but dire times ahead

MUFC want a better players than Ron. He is with us till his contract expires.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not so sure about that Oldvillan.

The guy might be right about Big Ron, I have also heard that he might tap him up.

Not saying he will, just what has been said.

I put a rumour on here about Ron vlaar going to Manchester United a few months ago and that was before they sacked moyes. So they wanted him before van gaal joined, there going to want him twice as much now as he knows just how good he is.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Ron knows how good he is, he will need to work a lot harder to be noticed by van Gall.

I think we're all being very negative talking about relegation next season we were blighted with injuries & it will be like having half a new if there all fit next season.
Libor Kozak, Jores Okore, Benteke, Charles N'Zogbia if Lambert does bring in 2 proven players that's half a new team :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What has zog ever done for villa kozak is a donkey okore we don't realy know and teckers yes , but the last 2 terrible injuries that's why there is gloom

Agree0 Disagree0

For all his optimism no one knows how long Benteke will be out for and how often do players who have suffered the injuries that Okore and Benteke have, ever come back the same players that they were before?
The answer, unfortunately, is practically never.
The days of us hoping to be able to sell Benteke to a big club for a fee over 20 million are gone, I'm afraid so even if we were prepared to let him go, if he asked to leave, who would take a chance on him?
Very few clubs, if any.
Clarrie blue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aaron Ramsey
Martin Laursen
Djibril Cisse (twice)

it is possible, keep the faith

If contracts are been put on hold until a new buyer comes in, I reckon there will be a buyer very soon not sure who it will be, but Scrooge isiant that stupid to let our best players run out of contract and leave for free, I do feel sorry on Paul lambert, he drafted bent Hutton to our youths and now it looks like he has to eat humble pie, but we do know that bent will score goals so let's hope he ups his work rate a bit

Believable0 Unbelievable0

When he was given a chance at Fulham last season, he managed to miss more than he scored, which is why they didn't play him very often. I'm afraid Redknapp was right when he made that remark about his wife hitting the net more often than Bent. If he ever had it at all it's definitely gone now.
Clarrie blue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Clarrie blue, bring back bent isiant the best news in the world, but for this week it's the best we are going to get, this club looks like it's been ran like a Sunday league club at the moment

Agree0 Disagree0

My God Mick, You've managed to depress me even more than I was before saying that is the best news of the week.
Can I say too that most Sunday league teams are run a lot better than Villa at the moment.
Clarrie.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with clarrie on this one. Bent has not been a goal scorer for two years now and he never will be again. He's a poor mans Etoo or Torres. Whatever he had, it went a long time ago

We can clearly see that while we still have Scrooge at the helm PL will be screwed. Albrighton allowed to go without even a small offer. Delfonescu gone, not a great loss, but if we are to believe the reports PL has to eat humble pie and give Bent another chance. What the f. Is going on? Lerner is an owner with no interest in AVFC and the guy is holding out for £200m. Please Mr Lerner, give me the keys and disappear back to the colonies across the pond. I am aware that you want to get your investment back, but you may just have to cut your losses and run back home. In the words of a great Birmingham group, "Go now" What are you going to do if you don't find a buyer? Are you going to leave PL stranded on our sinking ship? Very old English saying, "Only rats leave a sinking ship" and you pulled the plug out!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Its PL team he bought then and most should be given a free transfer out of the club, PL new what he had to do and failed and for the kind of football on offer he to should be sacked, ie Holt no other premiership team would consider him, no tactics no style breaks every record for all the wrong reasons, YET you still want him?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not stating I want him to stay. I am pointing out that he is shafted by Scrooge again. PL handled the housekeeping as well as he could and was only able to get players that would play for peanuts in the prem. His failure is that his buys have not improved as he expected and was not allowed to play the experienced players, it appears, on orders from Lerner. Let us see what happens next year with what is already on the books because it looks like there will be no new arrivals at B6 this summer. Will Lerner find a buyer? Will you win the lottery? Both are dreams.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers and I hope I win the lottery regards PL what other manager would allow his reputation to be ruined on orders of RL, it means he's on mega bucks and has no honour he should do the right thing and resign I can see we will have to agree to disagree on pl
