Whoever we sign I believe we should play a 3-5-2 this season,
In my opinion we looked so lightweight up top and playing with 2 strikers would be more of a threat,
But we are talking about having a very pragmatic manager in Bruce and I hope he can see how england are playing this system under Southgate and the difference is there for all to see,
I know we have not the same quality players as England but I want to see us go for it this season,
We are not expected to go up with all the pundits so the expectation will not be so great on us,
Come on Bruce show some bottle with your tactics,

I think we will stuck watching the same style of football, the same tactics and I fear the same result under Bruce next season - The annoying thing is, when let of the leash we are capable of playing some scintillating football - Bruce is much too reserved and reliant on "experience", I'm genuinely concerned that our promising youth may suffer under him next season.

What you are saying is 100% correct about Bruce,
I don't have a problem with him as a manager but he is very pragmatic in his views on the game,
We shown against wolves and Bristol c that we can play good attacking football but most of the time it has been dross to watch,
Youth is the key with more pace in side but as you say he does like the experienced older guys,

We are going to be depleted this season so a win however we get it will do. going gung ho is good on the eyes but dosn, t always bring the right result. I do think some of our younsters should get a chance though. what they lack in experience would be made up in energy. Think this season will be all about survival, hope i'm wrong, and we get to play offs. I would sooner we win under the same tactics as last season than throw caution to the wind and lose. A steady ship is needed more than ever now.

I think there are 3 good free agent centre backs on the market in Huth, Collins and McAuly - If we could keep Chester and maybe snatch two of those I think we would be set at centre back.

By the sounds of it we are going to have to use the loan and free transfer market very wisely but there are decent options out there in both I think.
I was disappointed that Dean Henderson joined Sheffield United on loan, perhaps Jamal Blackman could be an option?
At right back, an extremely optimistic suggestion would be Pablo Maffeo from City, very little chance but if we are going for loans surely we should look for top quality ones?
Again, if (when) Grealish is going I'd approach Everton for Tom Davies, think he would be a great replacement and with Everton likely to invest heavily this summer his playing time may be limited.
We don't know who will be left come the start of the season but this would be a decent side in the Championship.

No idea what was needed and no concern after a while. Did half a job then scarper out of town.
His side kick did the same but has managed to promote himself to a national team manager.
Both should be tarred and feathered and dumped in the Bull Ring.
