So, another day gone, no signings but reports say we're looking at a croat keeper, french defenders, forwards from germany and rejects from italian teams, we might as well change our nickname from the the "villians"to the "voyeurs", i think our board has learned a trick or two off gold and sullivan, make all the right noises about getting in this and that, and at the last minute come up with some jackanory about last minute changes demanded by the agent or player and how we won't be insulted and move on to the next target, yadda yadda yadda, they must be following the mushroom equation when deal with us, keep us in the dark and feed us pure "bulls**t",10 days to turn it around, hope i'm mega wrong but don't hold your breath, will hollis the 'novice'save the day with his business know-how, i bleedin hope so, "UP THE VILLA-sing loud, sing proud".

I have just been reading that bottom club Aston Villa are in the top 30 richest clubs in the world, which is incredible given our current situation. Frustrating then that with just a top ten finish we could easily be in the top 15! For any doubters in the football world about Villa being a big club please pay attention - it gives an idea of the size of our beautiful sleeping giant! I guess it also leaves us all feeling angry and let down by our American owner who clearly does not share our vision and passion for one of the worlds richest and most historic football clubs. Shame. more like disgusting!

Just saying they were all released, loaned out or sold for small fees and deemed not good enough by Villa and most of us. Yet all the millions since been spent on transfer fees and wages and what have we really gained?

There's one lad who's a LB called Rico Henry. He is already a good player. He came on in the friendly against Villa and was easily the best player in Walsalls teams and showed a few of ours up too. I'd like to think we could keep Amavi for a season but if not I'd be snapping this kid up. Remember the name because I can see him being a big team player one day.

Heard on talksport this morning that the bottom placed club in premier this season will get £13mil. qpr got £1mil, 1st year in championship parachute payment is £30mil, is it any wonder that yank doesn't give a **** about our club!

Not disputing that ED just trying to answer in my own head and sharing my thoughts on why we are not signing anyone. I want my club in the premiership as well but if we had have finished bottom last year we would have got £1mil. if we finish bottom this year mr Lerner gets £12mil more therefore does he care.
