just a question for all my fellow villa fans if the worst happens and Aston Villa get relegated what do you think the attendances will be next season and do you think season tickets will stay the same price?

If the last time on the 1980s and the 1970s are anything to go by I think we will continue to have a good home and away following as much for the novelty of hopefully winning a few matches! The opposition at VP won't always be too large but saying that a ground and club like villa will be an attraction in the Championship. First season if we go down I think about 30k will be usual but if stay down I can see that falling.

Best all round player to pull on a villa top in my life time.
Should build the England time around him

{Ed001's Note - not on present form mate, he has been utterly woeful for Liverpool.}

No question, that's the problem when you play for money not heart.
He was totally wanted, both times, at villa.
At pool he trying to do the impossible and replace Gerard.
They won't let him be himself!

After watching the last two games I think it's glaringly obvious we need a premier league striker to partner Ayew, Gustede has showed he is no where near good enough. He is good enough to ping balls to and play off when his on form but is no where near clinical enough, against Arsenal they make a mistake an he slips over an doesn't get to the ball and then he misses a header which is meant to be his strongest asset. Against Newcastle he came on and to be fair he did well but once again when ayew fired the ball across goal and he missed it completely it is blatantly obvious we need a proven premier league striker up there. No manager seems to want to give Kozak a go (although I believe had he played we would have beat Newcastle) so it seems a striker must come in January, and not these random foreigners who will just be the same, we need proven I. E. Austin, Remy (loan) - big men who are a threat in the air but will also score goals!
Also whilst I mention Newcastle can any shed any light on the Traore situation? The last 30 minutes of that game would have been perfect for him, it was end to end veretout and such were all tired so couldn't beat a man, I strongly think had he come on we would have won simply because the way the last half hour turned out.

I think RG didn't put him on because of the rain- the pitch was so wet he wouldn't be able to run fast without falling.

the man might run like the wind but he don't have a outboard motor. on that pitch there was no dribbling that why newcastle struggled so much because that's their game.
