Just a quick question Steve Bruce has transformed us in a couple of weeks and villa is his biggest job so far how come he hasn't been managing the likes of united or even the English team every player that had played under him speaks so highly of him.

Thats life mate some people get the breaks some don't but he also has two relegations on his record aswel. Iam just glad so far its working for us but we must cut draws out because all tho we was great it was only a draw where teams like bham won again.

Welcome back Mr SKIA I agree with you. Did you meet the man of your dreams in Brighton?
We are getting better all the time with SB. And there's definitely more for us fans to enjoy especially away from home.
However we are still relatively low scorers. We need to be more ruthless in both creating quality chances and putting them away.
Hopefully SB can put this right in January with 2 TOP quality signings.

Had great weekend mate thought we was fantastic iam actually enjoying watching Aston Villa again. 1 down point the train back into brighton was a nightmare. No didn't find the man of me dreams mate even had the wifes shoes on aswel lol. seriously tho do you think bruce knows already who he wants? jordan mutch was mentioned former birmingham city player. Fans was amazing again 12 man.

I'd be amazed if SB doesn't know who he wants in January. I think he probably knew within a fortnight of taking over at VP.
I really think we can mount a serious challenge in Jan if we make 2 or 3 good signings.

I heard he was promised a decent amount for January but I wouldn't be surprised if we get a golden oldie in the middle, someone with a bit of class at the end of their career, SB has gone that route a few times over his career.

I have to agree Dj, he was clean through on Friday and fluffed again didn`t have a clue what to do with it, he missed a penalty for the under 23s last week.
He is trying and making an effort, but that alone is not good enough.
Effort and enthusiasm do not equal quality.

When he went through he's got a centre back backing off from him in the box I was just praying that he'd run him, knock it on and blast past him like he would of done 4 years ago, force the defender to either take him out or just let him get past. Instead he cut back onto his right and tried to shoot too early, the centre back just blocked it easy. His effort was there Friday but it just begged the question is the player gone now, I think Bruce wants to get him back to his best and he will give him game time it's just about Gabby now not being a waste of space and getting match sharp and clinical again. Effort and movement was decent Friday but that was it, needs to make more chances and be clinical when people find him, especially against the likes of Brighton.

Could Bruce be putting him in the shop window? What's the best way to sell something? Get it in as best condition as possible and pray for a bid? It would definitely free a few quid on the wage bill.
