Looks like Garde is showing that he will make the decisions after he has told the recruitment team that he does not want Round in his management group.
It appears that he was being spoken to as a deputy before Garde came in as manager.
I like this action by Garde as it shows that he will not be bullied by recruitment and will make up his own mind.
Beginning to like Gardes style.

I agree Oldvillain. I was a bit confused by the potential Round appointment after seeing who he had worked with before; Moyes and Allardyce
Not exactly compatible with the way Garde wants to play.

Love the fact he is taking complete control.
