Very worried by the look on our goalkeepers eyes before the two Derby free kicks in the last 10 Minutes, like a rabbit looking into the headlights (did anyone else notice this) . In fact if any of them had been on target he would have been no were near them.

Why are our own fans trying to disrupt things. Ok. The young keeper made 2 bad kicks but if he hadn't he'd AV had 3 clean sheets from 4 games I think him an back 4 lookin good.

other than his shot i think I've missed something with this lad, last season everyone was screaming out for him to play and how he's going to be world class and i said then if he was any good surely we would use him? endless people on here called me names and said clearly i know nothing.

now all I've heard from people on here is how he's not good enough and he's looking a liability.

A good point point today we are getting there slowly but rome wasnt built in a day . midfield will be better nxt game an hopefully we will have a new striker to partner ross mac.

so much of our game is let down by the center two. so weak and nether seem to be able to pass a ball over 10 yards, can see if we keep playing gardener he's going to spend so much time suspended.

I can see McCormack being suspended a fair bit too! He has received a few needless bookings. I like his enthusiasm it gets the rest of the team going but needs to stop the booking we need him playing.

we are still maybe 4 players short of a decent team.

LB (if amavi is off or not fit),

RB (whoever plays there looks poor),

CM we have the 2 new lads but other than them no one we got looks good enough)

and a 2nd decent ST (other than ross know of them seem to know how to shoot)

I don't think anyone would just like to criticize for no reason. We all have different opinions!
I believe that we still need 2 players of real quality. One attacker and a creative midfielder.
IMO Westwood has never been good enough and never will be. I really hope Gary Gardener proves me wrong but at the moment I feel that he's not quite good enough either.

Sorry avfcdan i absolutely disagree how can you possibbly say Westwood and Gardner had decent games!? Westwood in particular was appauling mate, he kept losing the ball and looked weak, didn't you see that? They were both poor no question of a doubt and the sooner we get the two new guys in the better! We had no width either at all.

Westwood and Gardner are too lightweight for the championship. desperatley need another striker ( Kodak is pathetic) bit more creativity/ good luck in the final third and we will be top six. On the plus point our defence is looking really solid and elphick will become a legend.

All good points Smudge. We need a big, fast, powerful striker who can run at people with the ball creating panic and spaces for others. I like the look of Wells he's better than Bamford all day long, he had most poeple worried each time he got the ball v Huddersfield. We have lacked that kind of player for years, the last i can think of who was truely frightening was Dalian Atkinson! God bless him.

Morning all! I'm not on Twitter but can someone please contact Dr Tony and tell him to sign Assombalonga! Forest had him on the bench last week and what a mistake! Nakhi Wells would be a good addition but for out and out power and eye for goal a fit Britt would be awesome! And yeah I agree RB and ST and business should be done, also wouldn't mind Traore getting rid and the link with Ravel Morrison to cons to fruition! I know he has some attitude issues but if RDM and Clarke can get his head right what a quality player! Oh and big up the Mighty Jedinak! I was one over the moon when we were linked with him and we got him BOOM! UTV.

After reading a few of the latest interviews with Ravel, he said he really regrets his behaviour earlier in his career and it seems like his head is coming right, I reckon he has something to prove. I would sign him on a 1 year contract and see what he has got to prove.

RE: Britt the forest striker. I'm a villan living in notts, rumour has it he will be leaving an was benched because of that. i'd prefer nakhi wells but only because of the system we play. Kodjia or seb Haller would also suit.

When asombalonga was at Peterborough he was a very talented striker with a great eye for goal and one heck of a power shot. Would be a great option for villa.
