Big Sam finished in a position that would be the envy of many, fans paid there money and had there say, Moyes kept West ham in the league and the fans paid there money and had there say. Three years in the championship and fans are accepting Bruce's failure. The mind boggles!

The owner has tweeted a statement to tell us we have to cut back everywhere,
But where are Muppets on the board?
Has round got anything to say about the situation?
Has wyness gone on holiday with round to avoid the flak!
I agree the Dr's statement was very vague but he has spoken about our demise and heartbreak,
Come on you chances give it to us fans where we are going and with who in charge,

Surely one of the first things to do now Terry has gone, is to secure the signing of Abel Hernandez from Hull on a free. His contract is up next month, and he is considering a new contract offer that is on the table.
Terrys wages alone would probably fund such a move.
One out one in, should not affect ffp unless I am having a stupid day.

I think hernadez was after 100 grand a week?
Not a chance we will pay that
Did not the Dr say something about his demands and said no chance,
Think our wage limit will be around the 20 grand a week now,
These type of players will now be a distant memory to us I'm afraid,

01 Jun 2018 18:00:17
Again Bob, we won`t know unless we try mate.
Yes I agree the deal fell through last time because of his wage demands, that was back then.
If his demands are the same again we move on, and it hasn't cost us a penny, got to be worth a punt.
We want people who will play for the club and the prospect of better money when promotion is achieved.

02 Jun 2018 08:50:02
Dave I understand what you are saying I would love him also but how the Dr is talking there will be no big wages paid to anyone,
I look at Richards who up is on 50 grand a week?
Add hogan/ McCormack and we are throwing money away on players who clearly not good enough,
Think 70% of our revenue is payed in wages that is a massive amount in the premiership but in the championship it's not substainable to continue,
We have to face it we are in deep brown stuff and bringing in quality players on good wages for now is not going to happen,

Lads, it pains me to say this but the more I think about it the more logical it is to sell Grealish - If, and only if, it is enough to cover us from a FFP perspective.

What are your thoughts? Is it worth selling our star player to ensure we can keep the remainder of the squad intact? I'm honestly torn.

We have a strong squad of highly paid, and previously highly rated players at our disposal - Why aren't they being used? If we could find a manager who can use the "squad" and develop our young talent then I honestly don't think we will be far off, even minus Grealish.

If we can be smart in the transfer market and use the loan system in an intelligent manner then we could be looking at a Squad of.

FIRST TEAM:

Dean Henderson (L)

Tuanzebe (L) / Chester/ Huth (F) / Knudsen (B)

Bjarnason

Hourihane/ Tom Davies (L)

O'Hare/ Kodjia/ Green

SECOND TEAM:

Steer

Bree/ Jedinak/ Rice (L) / Clarke

Whelan

Lansbury/ Lyden

Hepburn-Murphy/ Hogan/ Adomah

In a perfect world we don't sell Grealish and he leads us to the promised land but he is the only player that can really get us out of trouble without impacting the squad. This is redundant however if Bruce is in charge.

The more I see it selling grealish would be the best chance,
But it's heart breaking to see your best home talent being sold to satisfy ffp.
Losing the final has set us back years,
I do think we have good young players to blood into first team but as I've said many times Bruce is not the manager for bringing through the youngsters,
But Bruce will be here next season I'm sure of it,
I have not got a problem with that as long as he has learned from last year with his ultra defensive tactics
But there are many free and out of contract players available it's up to the scouting to get them,

01 Jun 2018 15:04:46
I think selling Grealish means less of a squad overall - let's remember that this is a team, heavily driven by Grealish I admit, that missed out on promotion by a single goal. If we can maintain the core of the team and add a few shrewd signings, both loan and free, then we can be in the mix again but. Bruce is not the man to for this job, I see Oscar Garcia is a free agent, now there is a man who could instil a philosophy, almost to a fault. Basically the squad needs a fresh start, players like Hogan and Lansbury who are good Championship players have been in the wilderness for too long under Bruce, they could thrive under a new manager and save us money.

Can not disagree with you mate.

01 Jun 2018 18:45:47
with all due respect i have read through a lot of these posts with Bruce out, let's look at it do you think terry came for the money, do you think Snodgrass came for the money, johnson and axel came for the money, no they came because of how the player looks at bruce or there managers looks at bruce, name me one player dean smith could pull our way.

01 Jun 2018 13:16:56
Leeds get rid of there manager let's hope they get Bruce, it unlikely thou there after highly respected bielsa, unbelievable if they get him that's ambition if they get that one done he's a name villa should be after he plays great football aswell he played great foootball with Chile an atheletico Madrid.

What I will say looking at the managerial appointments up to now in championship this league will only get harder to get out of.
We could miss the boat again,

Leeds sack there manager!

Since August last year 64 manager's have being sacked in all 4 divisions!
