I have a gut feeling that Tony Adams has come back to front a consortium again,
It's only a theory of mine,
Just putting it out there!

01 Jul 2018 13:57:37
I don't think he will amass enough financial clout to become a serious contender if he does come in, other interested parties would outbid him and offer a better package more suited to Xia's requirements. So unless he became the only option I think it would be a none starter to be honest much like last time.

That's fine just a thought on my behalf!

Did you all see how the young french team destroyed the old boys of Argentina, a lesson for all to see Mr. Bruce.

01 Jul 2018 10:57:02
Quite true,
We need more energy and pace in side not overaged overpaid overated players,

01 Jul 2018 13:24:03
WI'll Bruce use youngsters thou it could a blessing if he does the 1st team lacks pace in every way the games moved on now u need pace at fullbacks cm mids wingers an Strikers even 1 of your cbs has to be quick now, an then u have your gk look at pep shifted our Hart because his kicking and passing.

01 Jul 2018 14:01:30
The U23's had a great season so surely he must recognize that some are ready to step up regardless of what happens next, that is if Bruce is still in charge of course.

01 Jul 2018 17:01:29
Bruce must play the young players now,
And I believe he should bury the hatchet and put McCormack back in squad,
If nobody comes in for him why not give him a chance to redeem himself,
He is a proven championship goalscorer,
Davis and McCormack up top for me.

01 Jul 2018 17:03:34
If McCormack does get a transfer in the championship what's the betting him scoring goals?
Egg on your face comes to mind.

01 Jul 2018 21:41:38
Bruce has to use every player that is available regardless of past misdemeanors.
Prime example is Hutton, bomb squad, kept his head down and became a prized assets.
It is not always the players, I frequently post that we must get the ball in the box quicker and rely on raw strikers but Bruce likes the ball in from the wings. Stan Matthews would get a game, every game!
If our style was to become more flexible we would not bother with transfers, we already have the players.
McCormack didn't like how we pplayed and locked himself behind his gates. Bruce dictated the style that meant the strikers were having to come back and join the fight. Most strikers are selfish, they want to hit the target, it seemed that ours were to be hunters.
We will lose Jack, probably Chester and Kodjia but we still have a squad easily good enough to see us challenging for the top 6.
All we need is Bruce to come into modern day football.

02 Jul 2018 07:11:56
Big question is will Bruce change the way he likes his teams to play?
I have my doubts!

03 Jul 2018 11:01:31
Personnaly I would not entertain Mcgatestuck, no commitment get rid of disruptive dressing room players. Bruce will stay even if we have new owners as they will not want to pay additional costs to get rid of him and his backroom staff, I would assume they would rather spend on improving the squad. Also Brusc will have no choice but to play younger players as that's all he has.
Assuming Grealish goes ( and I would not blame him if he did) we still have a good squad. But need a good keeper. so for example we could line up
New keeper
Bree (Almo)
Chester
Elphick (Jedi)
Scottish Cafu (taylor)
Thor (Jedi - Wheelan)
Hourihane (1 of U23s)
Green (RHM)
Ohare (Lansbury)
Jodja (Hogan)
Uncle Albert (Doyle Hayes)

Still a competitive squad.

Funny how Inter Milan, are having the same problems, after a Chinese take over, All the others being a bit smug about our problems, had better look at their Chinese owners .

01 Jul 2018 08:42:06
Agree Dave,
God forbid we end up with another Chinese owner!
A. c. Milan is a mirror of what we are going through,
I don't get share some fans thoughts that we are not as bad as the media shows us,
In my opinion administration is very much on the cards,
I sincerely hope not but I can't see the light at end of tunnel getting any brighter soon.

01 Jul 2018 14:09:37
You could well be right, and our smug neighbours who are still gloating at our plight may well find themselves in a bigger mess very shortly. TTA have already took loans out against themselves and blues being a bottom six fodder club might have trouble finding a new owner if things go any further south as they themselves already sit on a financial knife edge.
