Home Brighton already promoted villa 3pts
This would be 20 points giving us 78points and last season Ipswich were 7th with 69 points with Sheffield Wed 6th with 74pts!
Love being a deluded Villan with a mathematical what if lol!

Would be some run mate, that would be 11 games unbeaten, we probably deserve it after the last few years but can't see it happening.

School boy error! We only have 51 points, wishful thinking! 51 plus 20 equals 71pts still putting us in a region to dream. Realistically of course I expect the odd school boy error will turn some of these into defeats, one can but dream lol.

I actually think Sheffield Wednesday will slip up. they're falling apart a bit and I can see Fulham or someone up there getting the last place.

I recall Albion catching wolves one year and who can ever forget NUFC with Keegan! Stranger things can happen but agree Fulham more likely with SWFC slipping up!

Its great to see the lads stringing the wins together now and next season I think we'll be genuine contenders to win the league outright.
I think as far as incomings go i'd like to see 4 incomings being a gk, centre half, winger and a young striker.
Outgoings there's still a lot to do and move on such as gabby, Richards, elphick, bunn, Gil, mcormack etc.
Id keep veretout and Sanchez.
Grealish I'm on the fence with and would rather loan him out to prove he is the real deal.

What a great result yesterday, the first away win in a long time. Shows the hard work everyone has put in is starting to show results now
That's what's got me worried. There are comments like "we might sneak a play off place" but, are Villa ready for a return to the Premiership?
There would be nothing worse than to get back to the premiership and get smashed as we did in 15/ 16
During "Horrid" January, we had all accepted that we would consolidate the remainder of this season and in pre-season, and then hit the season 17/ 18 running and truly show that Villa is a team to be reckoned with
Don't get me wrong, I am the first to say that Villa should be playing "the big boys", but honestly, as yet, are Villa really ready because to "bounce" would be disastrous!
Would it not be wise to carry on thinking that there is another Championship season ahead so that when Villa go back, they go back with a bang!

It's a a moot point anyway as there is no prospect of us going up
That said, I would take it if there were. Look at the investment Xia has made to a Championship club. I'm sure we'll find the necessary re-enforcements on making our return to the Prem.

Staying in this league another season will do us the world of good, the players need a season together minimum so their a team, not just a squad of players. If we went up as mendax said I can see Xia spending 20mil plus on each player coming in if Bruce wanted them, so don't think we'd be embarrassed again. However going up while mathematically possible is highly improbably and the players don't need another 5/ 6 lads coming in who they've never played with before. Just to point out we beat Rotherham away 2 weeks ago mate.
